SW, good to hear from you.

That`s fine if Slate individually stood up for Ted Kennedy on the personal health issue. I`ve stood up for thousands of GIs writing my congress persons for better healthcare for them. My Republican congresswoman has ignored me and committed treason imo by not giving them the respect and treatment they deserve.

Again, Slate may be a good guy, more so in particular on this issue than others. But just because one right-winger is nice here does not mean I will forgive or forget what I heard with my own ears from Drudge and his callers about Kennedy when he got a tumor. Look at the top of this board, Locky wrote that he started believing in Karma when Ted Kennedy got his tumor. Where is the outrage?

No sir. Just because this one issue affects slate the world is supposed to change? I don`t think so. You want to make the world a better place, you gotta do it going both ways and for those who are hurting even if it has nothing to do with you.

BTW, I am sorry to hear about your family. My father has terminal cancer right now.
Good point well made; and I'm very sorry about your Dad!!!
All too true, the NeoConArtists almost unanimously started gloating about Kennedys tragic news...Slate tried to keep things outta the gutter then...but that don't make him a saint on anything, to be sure!!!
