Posted by: MichaelCanfield 2 years, 1 month agoLess than 72 hours before ABC's "The Path to 9/11" is scheduled to air, the network is suddenly under siege. On Tuesday, ABC was forced to concede that "The Path to 9/11" is "a dramatization, not a documentary." The film deceptively invents scenes to depict former President Bill Clinton's handling of the Al Qaeda threat.

Sept. 9, 2006, 3:21 a.m.How strange it is when Bill Clinton and his ever present wife get before the cameras and tell the world they want the TRUTH heard --- just tell the truth. How many, many times were they asked before a prosecutor to TELL THE TRUTH, but they always stuck with the same OLD LIES. Those two speak with a forked tongue --- as the word TRUTH is not in their dictionary. They were caught off guard with this movie and are now coming unglued cause they are afraid it will ruin his legacy and her upcoming bid for President. Gee.. hate to disappoint 'em, but his legacy was already ruined and she will never become President.

Sept. 9, 2006, 5:14 p.m.What is it you people don't understand? The far right wing radicals that put this movie together are DANGEROUS! Be afraid, be very afraid. The Nazi's did the exact same thing to Germany as the right wing radicals are trying to do to this country. Flag Waving, "Keep You Safe" , keep people in fear and say you're protecting them, tell a lot of lies often enough that people believe them.
Be afraid! You don't have to be a conservative or a liberal or a moderate to recognize the truth! Stay away from radicals...on either side!
We are a country being governed by religious radicals fighting religious radicals on the other side of the world. It's time for the radicals to go!

Sept. 9, 2006, 5:24 p.m.Truly the party of Sore Loosermans....
Whiners and complainers.
You didn't see the Republicans all up in arms about the work of fiction " Fahrenheit 911".
The head of the 911 commission says the film accurately depicts what happened. No wonder the previous administration is scared.

Sept. 9, 2006, 6:27 p.m.So what if Clinton had a BJ! and lied about it? Nobody died because of it! The propaganda and lies machine of the Bush regime has killed tens of thousands of innocent people not to mention almost as many of our troops as died on 9/11.
There's white lies and big fat black lies. Bush is the biggest teller of black lies ever in the history of this country. God help us all!

Sept. 9, 2006, 7:18 p.m.luvmyprez: ordan, what I do have a problem with is a political party (those five members) threatening to remove a tv station's licenses if they air it.>>>>
I've not researched this, but will. One thing I've learned in my 63 years, is that nothing is either/or. Somewhere in the middle, the truth usually lies.

You speak the truth man. Keep it up. Debt, decpetion, destruction and death - that's the Bush legacy. He has lied and is responsible for the deaths of nearly 3000 young Americns in additon ot tens of thousands of Iragi citizens. The national debt is now in the trillions, which means generations from now will still be paying it back - and he inhetrited a balance budget. Our reputation around the world is in ruins. Where will it end?

Sept. 9, 2006, 8:16 p.m.It's not that the Republicans can't get over Clinton. At this time that's the only thing they can get their head around. Another attempt to shame to the Democrats and strenghten their own party around it.
What is a shame is that they have to try and go before Bush's first administration to try and justify their stance at the present. That make this entire time after Clinton's administration worthless. How many years does it take one is over the entire country to fix. Take ownership!

Sept. 9, 2006, 8:26 p.m.I still feel that the Path to 9/11 starts with the think-tank which included:
Donald Rumsfield
Jeb Bush
Dick Cheney

Sept. 9, 2006, 9:19 p.m.Bitter Dems is getting to be a bore. We will wait a few years for the Bill Legacy to be firmed up, however, he wanted a Middle East agreement more than anything and Yasser pulled the legacy rug right out from under Bill just as he was preparing the victory speech. Yasser was the only human to out Clinton, Clinton. Also, any arguement that the White House was not distracted by the ML affair is absolute Bull. The whole dang world was distracted. It would be interesting to see his official schedule during that period.

Sept. 9, 2006, 9:20 p.m.Actually, I'd like a docudrama that exposes all the dirt on the Clinton administration. You know the murder and mayhem brought about under Janet Renos direction. Poor Vince Foster. Poor Ron Brown. Poor Branch Dividians. Poor Weaver Family.
Then we have the other scandals. President perjuring himself over sex with an intern. First Lady perjuring herself. Travelgate. Tyson Chicken and Whitewater. On and on.
Add to that an incompetent foreign policy that ignored terrorist attacks and was cowardly..
Why do we have to pull punches with these murderers and perjurers? Clinton is a disgraced and impeached President. At this point Hillary should also be considered thouroughly disgraced.
Yet the entire matter is SPIKED by the liberal media and liberal Hollywood.
We need to take out country back. Exposing the Clintons to be charlitans, liars and murderers that they are is only a first step.

Sept. 9, 2006, 9:46 p.m."At this point Hillary should also be considered thouroughly disgraced."
I totally understand why individual continue to find fault in the most successfull president in our time. Suspicious murders and perjurers. But for the life of me, I don't understand any attack on Hillary. By my recollection, she has never been president, and made any unpresendent diabocals, like Bush and Bill.

oh spare me this murder conspiracy bullsh*t.
Look at what this liar bush has wrought! We now admit that we fabricated Iraq pre-war intelligence and despite the urgings of the rest of the free world for more time...dumbya bush shoved his head up his a$$ and went in anyway. A war that's cost more american lives now than 9/11, a war that's killed over 50,000 iraqis and bankrupt our nation. All built on lies.
Now we admit that we torture, one of the very things we accused the evil saddam of doing. Now afghanistan is heating up again, and Iran thumbs its nose at us. Bush's ONLY ally, Blair, is forced from power!
Remember the good ol days when all we had to be embarassed about as a nation was a bj?

samsara15
Sept. 9, 2006, 10:11 p.m.How complete and final can be the disgrace of a once proud nation which now condones torture? Because Bush and Company have so frightened the electorate that they now consent to anything and everything that they think protect them, just a little bit, from the mean old terrorists? We should be ashamed. What do you call people who frighten people in order to move them politically? The correct word is demagogues. The Right Wing should stand on its principles, and denounce these phony Conservatives for what they are, just as the Left Wing once denounced Lyndon Johnson for his unnecessary war!! Then the Right Wing would restore its now lost integrity.

Sept. 9, 2006, 10:25 p.m.Ya gotta love this bunch. First they Bitch and Moan for the last 40 years and swear that the media is "liberal Bias" . Then, when a story is put out by the same source, and it's a story they like. It then becomes "an accurate news story based on true events". But once it's investigated, and when the realfacts are put right there in front of them for all the world to check out, and investigate, with sources named, they squeal like a pig under a gate. Like I have always said, if you are making below 50k, and still vote GOP, then you had it given to you, or your just a complete dumbass who doesn't know the facts about each party. There isn't a person on this website who can defend the actions of the GOP over the last 40 years.

Well, the facts are what the facts are....& Clinton continued to do his job. But your remark is interesting......tell me, what do you think about a bunch of SOB's, who completely ignored their responsibilities to the U.S., put everything on hold (including terrorism), to harass and squander near 70 MILLION tax dollars in trying to discredit a duly elected President of the United States? Hmmm? Whatcha think about those bas****s?
