To Netscape GM JASON CALACANIS, did you write this headline?

You are doing a great job at the new netscape... That's what we need more and more onsided bias headlines and News Reporting.

It is great to know in advance that the new Netscape dosen't believe in Fair and Balance reporting.

You are making significant progress in your effort to let Netscape users know exactly what JASON CALACANIS stands for.

Netscape GM JASON Calacanis, does this sound correct to you:

If users are looking for entertainment, games, weather, etc,

the new netscape is fine, However, if one is looking for Accurate Factual Current News of the day, one would be far better off visiting other sources to avoid Bias Onesided headlines and news reporting.

Good Luck Jason, you may have a future with CNN and/or CBS

    you fit right in...

    SINCERELY,

"But the Clinton administration did not get off lightly either. The latest poll, conducted by Opinion Research Corporation for CNN, found that 41 percent of respondents blamed his administration a "great deal" or a "moderate amount" for the attacks.

That's only slightly less than the 45 percent who blamed his administration in a poll carried out less than a week after the attacks."

The partisanship on this site is appalling. You guys must get a check from the 9/11 "truth" tinfoil hat brigade

It is true that we will not escape future terrorist attacks. But we can, and must, learn to live with them, and get on with our lives, in spite of them. If America is going to be part of the world, we have to pay the penalty of living in a violent world, and continue our policies undetered.

"Still, most Americans appear to be fatalistic, with more than half -- 57 percent -- saying they think that terrorists will "always find a way to launch attacks no matter what the U.S. government does."

          Thats right!!!

So I want to take a bottle of mineral water and my rose lotion on the plane.

get over it you guys, the world is a dangerous place.

Do not let the Cons take away all of our freedoms from the mundane to the important.

Take you bottle of water and rose lotion on a plane but watch out for the gal next to you. They will use any age, any gender to try and get us. But don't take it on my plane.

Small price to pay for safety to deny you your water and lotion.

I think this article demonstrates two things rather well. First, it shows how well the media has been effective in painting Bush as the bad guy for the last few years. Second, it shows how ignorant a certain percentage of the American public is that they would blame a new administration for setting the stage, causing, or failing to stop a hatred and resulting conspiracy and plot that was likely years in the making (planning, recruiting, training, positioning and executing the action). At that time (9-11), the Bush administration was little more than a caretaker administration with less than 2 years under its belt -- hardly the internationally aggressive and at the same time politically inept administration that it characterized to be today. Talk about violating the laws of physics -- it just isn't possible to be all of those things, at once, that early. Remember, the world that gave us those terrorists was formed a generation ago. Put things properly into perspective!!

This attack on America has been predicted since 1996. Don't believe me? Just watch it on the History Channel (120 Dish network) "the Man Whp Predicted 9/11". Plese Remind me who was in office at this time.........Not Bush! Just goes to show you that someone else has to either Clean Up Clintons Mess, Or Take the Fall For Clinton and get Blamed for his mistakes. Not to mention Authorites could have captured Bin Lauden AT least twice when Clinton was in office But Clinton told the Military and CIA to not worry about him, so they let him go! Had he had been captured, 9/11 may have Never had Happened.

Some people will blame Clinton for everything. I don't blame the Bush administration for 9/11, but I certainly don't blame an administration which hadn't been in office for two years. Now the question is who do you blame for not capturing Bin Laden five years after 9/11?

wellsaid ,they have been trying to kill us for years, going back at least to 1983, when a Hezbollah suicide bomber killed 241 American servicemen in Lebanon. Then they attacked the World Trade Center, the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, and the USS Cole in Aden -- all while Bill Clinton was president. What in the hell did any of this have to do with Bush?

This happened on his watch even though he was warned - but his ARROGANCE got 3,000 Americans killed on 9/11, then 2,700 more in Iraq plus 50,000 Iraqi ciivilians.........so much blood on his and Cheney's hands, what a disaster!

But now, after we've been hit by terrorists and have much better intelligence, you laugh at the color coded alert system and consider it to be nothing more than a political ploy designed to perk up Bush's poll ratings.

"Before 9/11 -- and what we learned afterward -- I agreed with the basic strategy of trying to contain Islamist terror until it collapsed under the weight of its own stupidity. That was before I realized how widespread it was, and how thoroughly intertwined with hostile states it was. I don't fault the Clinton people for not catching on before I did.

But I do fault the people who are peddling the absurd story that Clinton had this terror thing under control until Bush screwed it up. That's partisan twaddle, and a real disservice in time of war."9/11 Commissioner, John Lehmana

You know I watched on the History Channel today why 9/11 was able to happen. And among the top ones were Political binding on foreign affairs, lazyness on the TSA, and master planning. The terroists had 4 inch knives because they knew that the standard 6 inch knife would be noticed. Many of them set off the metal detectors but were sent off anyway. Their passports were easily forged, yet the TSA did not care to look at them well enough. Their student VISAs were left blank and unfilled in parts (Such as source of money they said "me"). Bush was not the cause of this event, the cause of it was the illusion of security and the carelessness of the TSA (Transportation Security Agency)

Until this is in the past and historians crack at it will we truly know whether Bush was a good president. Want an example, look at Reagen. He played with some burning hot fire in his gamble against the USSR. The Liberals hated him with a passion that burned brighter than a thousand pyres in the burning depths of hell, yet he was right in the long run. We are still in the short run with Bush, keep your mind open.

If you're going to correct others, be sure you know the facts. (1) Airport security, even if it wasn't known as TSA, predated 9/11 to avert skyjacking for political or financial reasons. (2) Ignoring warnings from other countries supports GeneralPatton's claim that there was an illusion of security. (3) Even without 9/11, the WMD issue might have been considered grounds for another war with Iraq.

By the way, where can I find information about the eleven countries who sent warnings about the 9/11 threat?
