NY DAILY NEWS, 11-11-06, Rep. Charles Rangel got Mississippi burning by asking "who in the hell" would live there, and then offered a New York-centric defense yesterday: "I just love New York so much that I can't understand why everyone wouldn't want to live here," Rangel said.

    It can be hazardous to speak so 'off the wall' when you are a politician, just ask ex-senator Allen.

      Mr. Rangel in this case, seems to have put his foot squarely into his mouth yet again in so many weeks. Just last month it was also business remotely distant from his geographic focus of responsibility, Venezuela via DC.

      As other fellow (or firey) NY City politicians, Sharpton and Giuliani most notably, these ones repeatedly caught feet in mouth syndrome for their pandering rhetoric.
