I predict webcams broadcasting 24/7 one tea drinking Britt each on top of one of the 15 nuclear laboratories (actualy 17) in Iran. Looking up the sky to see if the bunkerbuster which would end the broadcast was coming yet. The Human Shield Show will attract alot of attention, 15 targets covered, 2 to go. Big brother for real, no Abu grab this one.

The longer they wait for what? to retaliate? to 'ACT' so to speak?
No it won't. The second they ACT it will get worse.
The options are... physical retaliation with the probability of resulting in a broader war with Iran. OR creating contingecy plans, running covert-ops, and letting Iran run this public phalacy of a 'trial' on these poor soldiers. The worst thing that happens is the 15 soldiers are executed and Iran looks ridiculous and cold-hearted even to their supporters. Iran is banking on a retaliation. That's obviously what they want. Either the UK admits that they were in Iran (which they weren't) or they retaliate, and confirm Iran's bogus allegations of a hostile UK.
Iran wants the UK to respond. So, that's the last thing that should be done.

So you are saying that the UK should let Iran execute these 15 soldiers and then do nothing about it? Um....ok, right. And so since Iran wants the UK to attack them by not attacking and letting Iran kill 15 people we win?

If they come back and then make an internationally broadcasted interview with Al jazeera from all places declaring in full detail what took place behind the cameras in Iran how do they appear as with tail between legs. To try to escape or have comandos sent that soon is irrational even if you like to see it in movies. A civilized person puts life any life above bs pseudo honor and risks life only when a real valuable principle or other greater number of life is threatened. Real honor is to live with dignity and maximize your creative product until very old age. Honor is to fight the long term battle not the quick exit one. If you have to sacrifice your life fast for a rational objective sure be the hero otherwise the real hero is the one that stays the long course and dies naturally having lived a worthy life .

Wrong.
Iran does NOT want the UK to respond. It's just the opposite, they feel like they WON'T respond so they feel emboldened to take the sailors for their OWN political purpose. If you notice, the taped "confessions" & the rhetoric coming from Iran is directed for their own people. The Iranina economy is in ruins. They have 30% unemployment and an economy that is getting worse. You think that Iran can fight a war with the UK, let alone us? They wouldn't last. This is mearly an effort to gather support for regime that needs its people to support them....and tht support is waning.
The hostages will be released when Iran is done milking the propaganda.

Why is this still going on. If they(Iran) wants brit to say "yeah, we were lying, our guys went into your water" when they weren't really there, then it is going to get worse no matter what they do.
I really think Iran may have grown some testies. I think they are trying to get someone,other than Bushco, to initiate third world war.

I'm with you. It just doesn't add up. Anyway you look at it.
Though i was reading in newsweek one of the editorials saying that it may well be a backfired political stunt that was executed without the support of the whole government. like a small group of hard liners trying to push the government in a certain way so they went and did something rash without thinking it through. i guess i can beleive that...
But looking at the way Iran has handled it and stood behind the action so strongly... it only makes sense if they are antogonizing.

Do yourself a favor and remove the term liberal from your exchange with Thesecondcoming .Liberal has nothing to do with islam, in fact quite the opposite. A liberal may respect the humanity of a muslim more than you do and be willing to converce with him before choosing violence but a liberal will never consider islamic law or religion superior to ideals of liberty and individualism upon which western culture is based. A liberal may be deeply concerned with the usage of term collateral damage when innocent people die in muslim countries due to improper design of a strike but the same liberal will be more eager than you think to defend true justice and freedom even if that requires sacrifice when targeting trully malicious terrorists and their enablers. Remove the term liberal from your insults and become again an American. This polarization between liberals and conservatives is something dominant in recent US history and ultimately vastly destructive for the purpose of this country.

Would you have a problem if they did? Many people do see the light and REVERT to Islam. We are the fastest growing religion in the world. You cant stomach it because you are a racist westerner. Calling the SHIA a MUSLIM is like a Protestant calling a Mormon a true Christian. The Shia are NOT Muslims and they DO NOT follow ISLAM. Their Aqeedah is a world of difference then ours. They like to man worship just like you Christians and all you other pagan man worshipers.

Tell me again why should a person convert to Islam from say a Christian faith? Exactly what will be the benefit? In other words what exactly is wrong with Christianity that makes Islam necessary to exist as a better alternative? Oh baby i want to see that in full detail , write a paper if so needed .
Then also tell me what will be the benefit for a scientist that holds religion simply as part of his/her cultural heritage and not as the decider of all logic requiring actions, that studies the universe using mathematics and experiment to convert to Islam. Will he/she get better results in his/her work or will he/she lose his/her head if he/she comes to a risky conclusion and dares to speak his/her mind? Does that her hurt in the above question?
