..Ok so we just listen to McCain who goes and then has the general's staff deny he was right (Petraeus always goes in an armored vehicle) and all the press deny his statement of strolling around that market unprotected. Joe Lieberman does the same thing, goes but denies the truth of his own eyes!

There is nothing sacred about people who beheaded Daniel Pearl, and then cut his body into 10 pieces, because he was a jew. Islamofascists is a perfectly good word to describe the animals we are at war with in Iraq, and maybe Iran. It is unfortunate that Democrats do not understand we are fighting a Global War on Terror with international Terrorist who happen to be radical Muslims. They have twisted the words so we can be captured without firing a shot. Personally, I think Nancy looked like an idiot in her little headscarf, and I refuse to wear one, ever.

Our botched war in Iraq is what gave these people the opportunity to do what they did to Danial Pearl. If we had focused on our true enemy (Osama Bin Ladin) Danial Pearl may still be alive today.
Now we are mired in Iraq with no end in site and a military that is running out of personnel and equipment and not in any position to fight the enemy (we have in fact given the enemy a great platform to recruit and attack us from).

"If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you," he said on national television. "I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia, one the Australian law and another the Islamic law, that is false.

France is probably the worst affected of all western nations by immigration, since it is on the brink of losing its European identity to the insistent Muslims increasing in numbers within French borders. As they grow in population, they come to believe they can impose the will of Islam on the French people, who seem oblivious to it.
With a population of five million Muslims, France is holding a tiger by the ears. The threat of violence from radical Islamic elements cannot be far from politicians' minds. Wherever there are large numbers of Arabs, there is crime and violence, particularly against women.
France should be seen as a cautionary tale of immigration run amok, and how quickly things get out of control. Muslim immigration to France is a post-war phenomenon for the most part: just of few decades of high immigration of a group with high fertility has put France in the unenviable position of being the European nation thought most likely to be the first to introduce sharia law.

Palestinian Riot in Montreal
On September 9, 2002, former Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was invited to speak at Concordia University in Montreal. However, a riot of Palestinian students ensued, making it impossible for him to even enter the building safely. Jewish attendees were trapped for a time inside the building with the violent protesters and had to be escorted out 10 at a time by police. One comment to the original posting noted that Concordia has a high number of foreign students, particularly from Islamic nations.

Synagogue Attacked in Riot-Torn Belgian City - Antwerp
After the murder of an Arab by a Belgian, local Arab radical Abu Jahjah inflamed local North Africans to disorder, in which Flemish and black-owned businesses were attacked, but those showing Arab European League stickers were spared. Included in the rioting was a molotov cocktail thrown at a synagogue. The Telegraph of the UK remarked that, "Belgium's liberal media agreed yesterday that the country's experiment with tolerant multiculturalism had totally broken down."

Attacks on synagogues have increased alarmingly according to this report (11/24/02). Many have hired full-time security as a result of fire-bombings and personal attacks. Canadian Jewish Congress has counted at least 50 incidents of arson, assault, graffiti and vandalism against Jewish targets since Israeli-Palestinian tensions increased in the Middle East in late September.

Canada prepares to enforce Islamic law
Judges will give legal sanction to disputes between Muslims

Canadian judges soon will be enforcing Islamic law, or Sharia, in disputes between Muslims, possibly paving the way to one day administering criminal sentences, such as stoning women caught in adultery.
Muslims are required to submit to Sharia in Muslim societies but are excused in nations where they live as a minority under a non-Muslim government.
Canada, however, is preparing for its 1 million-strong Muslim minority to be under the authority of a Sharia system enforced by the Canadian court system, according to the Canadian Law Times.
Muslim delegates at a conference in Etobicoke, Ont., in October elected a 30-member council to establish the Islamic Institute of Civil Justice.
The institute is classified in Islamic law as a Darul-Qada, or judicial tribunal. Its bylaws are scheduled to be drafted and approved by Dec. 31.

Cases will be decided by a Muslim arbitrator, but the local secular Canadian court will be the enforcer.
One of the obstacles to establishing the system, the Law Times said, has been the Muslim communities' lack of unity and organizational strength. Muslims in Canada come from many different countries and different schools of Islam. Also, there are few Islamic legal scholars, known as ulama, in North America, which are essential to adjudicating complex issues.
"It seems as if the community was looking forward to something like this," says organizer B. Husain Bhayat, according to the Law Times. "If all groups are represented, with hard work and the unity we saw here, we will have no difficulty going forward."
The two main streams of Islam, Sunni and Shi'ite, were represented at the conference, along with imams and leaders of organizations.

We overthrew Saddam and have replaced him with a government that is dominantly Shiite with close ties to Iran (also dominantly Shiite) who is running under Islamic Law. By doing this and causing all the strife in that country we are adding to the problem of immigration to Europe and other countries, as well as creating yet another country that is in support of spreading their values. So tell me what the purpose of this war is? What exactly are we gaining? What makes you think that this "Democracy" we are trying to start is going to help with any of the goals we have for the region? What makes anyone think that the voters their are going to vote for anyone who is more secular when they themselves aren't?
It doesn't matter how long we stay, as soon as we leave that country is going to become a nation run by Shiite Islamists. By staying we are just prolonging the inevitable. Not to mention wasting the lives of our soldiers.
