Bring Back the Posse »
Posted by: populist 1 year, 4 months agoThere have been the usual howls from the anti-gun lobby, but it's all hot air. America is not about to dump the Second Amendment to the US Constitution giving people the right--albeit an increasingly circumscribed one -- to bear arms.

The second amendment is there not to protect us from foreign enemies we have Military for that, they cannot, or will not protect us from criminals, but to protect us from overbearing political power when they relieve us of our rights. And don't tell me about the Patriot Act. That has not changed my life one bit. It has protected my neighborhood from terrorists. Americans need their guns, and as long as 88% of all household in this country has at least one gun, mostly more, we are better off. Did you notice, Democrats always want to pick up the guns, they never talk about taking the emotional, and mental misfits off the street. That would diminish their numbers considerably.

Are you kidding. Make no mistake about it the ant-gun crowd aren't just out to get your assualt weapons, they're after every gun you have, and if they force gun registration upon you they will have a list of all the people who have them. The Nazi's did that in France during WWII. They went door to door, your gun or your life? Cannot happen here? Oh, Pleasseeee....these wackso would surrender to the Islamic terrorists, rather than fight. They are truly clueless.

The wackos have already tried to convince American that the second amendment has nothing to do with the rights of the American public to bear arms. The ACLU lines up right behind them. I'm not even a member of the NRA but were it not for them, I doubt you'd even have a shotgun now, much less a handgun. Yet in recent years they've began building sports clubs for the rich and forgotten their roots and the people who made them strong.
I'm sorry. I'm tired of coddling criminals, giving them more rights than us, and the only gun control we need is a firm hand a firm aim on the person who just broke into your house or tried to hijack your car. Carry that sucker to the morgue! The dead cannot rape you, rob you, or steal anything you worked hard to earn. Our children deserve to be able to play without worry about some pedophile getting them either. We're coddling them too.

...not yet, but it will change for you soon.
You don't eat an elephant in one bite...you take small mouth sized bites. That is what the government is doing to the civil liberties of US citizens...some sublime, some blatant. All under the charade of "for the good of the country".
So, the majority, either they don't know or don't care, tacitly agree to oppressions for the sake of "false safety". All the while, slowly sapping away freedoms from US citizens.

Explain what rights have you lost? I lived through the second world war, and Democrats rationed our food, had to use stamps for meat, and coffee, and tires. You could not travel by train after a certain time. All those things were returned after the war. I am not nearly as curtailed as we were then, and make no mistake, we are at war. That is what is so frightening, Democrats don't recognize the threat to our security. National Security to them come way down on their list of issues.

I think you are penning Democrats when you should be exposing the elitist bankers of this world who glorify war...excuse me glorify in war. They are laughing all the way to the bank - and you can bank on that. They don't suffer in war time or good times. Ever wonder about that?
