No, Cheney lied, the others merely listened to his lies. Listening to lies and telling lies are not equivalent. Also, Tenet claiming that he believed Saddam to have WMDs is not the same as Cheney lying. True, Tenet should have opened his yap when Cheney lied, but even him not telling us that Cheney was lying is not precisely the same as Cheney lying. Tenet is cullible though for the crimes committed by Bush and Cheney.
Impeach Cheney and Bush!

You have to send a message, every politician has lied, there are skeltons in everyones closet,When Nixon got caught the general thought was "they all do he just got caught"No political regime has ever come against the internet. When has any issue been able to be torn apart by people from UK,Can.Aussieland, never mind USA.the information that is coming to surface is staggering and as we dig we find out that these tatics have always been there only buried.Maybe shrub is the straw that broke the camels back. You say that libs lie, well let me tell you a truth,I dislike both Rep. and Dem. so I will not vote for them.....Wait a minute I'm Canadian,so what I didn't lie did I: exactly how shrub deals with you

agreed. I voted against as well. I have a hard time believeing it will be counted though. The wackjobs doing this "poll" are hardly interested in an opposing viewpoint. The only place our "votes" are going is the bottom of a trash can I am afraid.

Well doesnt that just about sum it all up?
"...the Bush admin has done nothing wrong."
Why is it that the rest of the planet disagrees with you? Is everyone else wrong?
And once again with the Clinton reference.

And then there are morons.....or congenital idiots, who can not be blamed for being gullible. You my friend are just in denial .. "Bush has done nothing wrong" ...would you be willing to stick your hand in fire for that group (43)? If the answer is yes... then you need to come downrange and see the "nothings" your group is doing and has done. If you were in the military or train them like we do ...you would be singing a different tune. You can't imagine how many times we wish we could bring folks like yourself to Germany and the National Training Center and just chat for an hour or two ...then you would change your mind. But that won't happen so we can only hope for logic to reign instead of blind faith.

Don't be so quick to complain about the Democrats. The ratio of Congresspeople being investigated is almost 6 to 1 republicon. There a a few bad apples in the Democratic barrel, but it can be said that there are 6 times as many bad apples in the republicon barrel.
Tell me, who does impress you. Gonzales? Libby? Foley?

Thanks for the encouragement. I sent an op-ed and poll. In addition to Cheney's clear role in cooking the intelligence that defrauded Congress and the American people there is Cheney's role in the breakdown of our nation's defense system on 9/11 (of course Cheney wasn't the only one culpable - you have Myers and Eberhardt - but it's clear that the Transportation Secretary, Norman Minetta, witnessed Cheney issuing stand down orders). Americans are in the dark about the extraordinary powers delegated to Cheney before 9/11 that allowed him to essentially maestro the defense system that day (and the 5 wargames that occured simultaneous to the attacks that the government has yet to explain).
Cheney had the motive and the means to pull off the false flag operation, with others. A very damning case could be made and criminal investigations are required if this country has any value for the rule of law.

how disheartening if nobody is able to do anything about this.
These 2 are so blatantly disrespectfull of America as a whole.
As much as can be done, should be. It would be insulting not to be able to do anything. For those who still stand next to them, they can go down right along with them.

27,000 out of 300,000,000 people in the U S. I know I am impressed. Put it in perspective, we have deported ten times that many illegals since Jan 1, 2007. Your sponcer for Cheney's impeachment is a joke even in Democrat circles. They are saying Kucinich will be President before Cheney is Impeached, and Kucinich has no chance at the Presidency.

Our Speaker, "Miss Syria" Pelosi won't even bring it up. Call her office. Find out when they will debats Cheney's Impeachment.

Oh, by the way Condi herself is meeting with Syrian leaders today. What a bunch of hypocrites on the Right!
The votes simply are not there for impeachment. No Republican wants their campaign support cut off by the RNC as punishment for stepping out of line. That comes before what is best for the country.

I haven't logged on to Nutscape for awhile and you can imagine my surprise when I found yet another post on impeachment, and with the headline in capital letters this time! This will surely grab the attention of more than 27K people now! I shudder to think of the impact on the internet with all the loons having their masturbatory moments with the other like-minded loons in a gigantic cyber-circle-jerk! Didn't your adult supervisors tell you that if you kept that up, so to speak, you're gonna go blind!
P.S. Please spare me the childish comebacks like...Oh yeah, that's why you're blind, poopyhead!

No,A-Hole; it is MUCH more serious than you wanting to be pivot man of the circle jerk.
These traitors have done REAL damage to this country, our Law,
our Constitution, our world standing and more just to further enrich thier base.(The haves and the have mores-REMEMBER???)
And BushBitches like you are enablers of treason, Bush and Cheney would not have been able to avoid accountability for
thier actions and lack thereof, signing statements irregardless if not for your gods,Newt Gingrich,Tom DeLay, and the rest of the hypocritical, corrupted, narrowminded political prostitutes from Reagan onward that kept chipping away at the freedoms and protections that formerly defined this nation.

I have seen the selfserving 'smear-and-fear' of those who inexplicably support these criminals. BushCorp has had six years of a rubberstamp Congress who abdictated thier responsibilities, said Congress has been Neoconartist for 8
years.
You politi$/utpuppies have had your way for FAR to long, bullied those who didn't agree with you for far too long, attempted to gag the casual observer and destroy the credibilty of those with a different viewpoint.
LeShrub will not get away with his hissy fits for not getting it all his way anymore. As for the PolitiGono infected BushBitches like you, we won't take your crap anymore; so shove it into the nearest available orifice!!!

Impeaching Cheney shouldnt really be a priority for the Democratic Leadership, there are far more important things to accomplish to undo much of the damage that the Bush Administration has done then to spend months mired in a impeachment hearings and distracting from genuine problems facing this country.
This blood thirsty rabidness plays directly into the rights hands, and comes across as little more then petty revenge. Currently good things are happening in congress, important legislature is getting passed, and continuing this serves this country more then lengthy impeachment hearings that will do nothing but inflame partisan tensions.

I would not use the word invasion as many of these people want only to be US Citizens, nor do they have any hostile intent. It seems to be a new republican talking point that attempts to paint it as some sort of malicious invasion.
That said there is a definite need to address the immigration laws in this country, including enforcing the laws we have already and providing a way for the people already here a chance to become US Citizens. Simply deporting them will not accomplish a single thing.

KLARISSA-
thank you for bringing up the illegal immigration issue. this is by far worse than getting this f__cking regime out of office since we only have 2 more years of hell. (it will take that long to get the impeachment process moving anyway)
what we ultimately should be focusing our energies on is what to do about this war on the middle class. (illegal immigration)
you can't even imagine the damage our elected officials have created by not enforcing the immigration laws already on the books.
Corporations have lured the imported servant class for bottom line profits. and these same corporations do not pay the health insurance of the illegal immigrant. but, rather sends them out to the local social security office for medicaid and food stamps.
you're damn righ Klarissa. Illegal immigration is a bigger issue than impeachment. the results will be devestating if not curtailed with a moratorium!

Well i voted, but in light of the fact that Congress backed down and gave in to Bush's demands regarding the war, i don't see anything happening. There isn't that much time left, and i don't see Congress doing anything about Cheney or Bush. They all appear to be afraid of this bunch, either that or they are all in agreement, and stuffing their pockets. Impeachment should have been one of the first things on the table with our new Congress.

...On what grounds are you attempting to impeach Cheney, and what proof do you have? And I'd wager that nothing short of a million signatures would have any effect on congress. Besides, would not this time spent on attempting to impeach him be better spent by coming up with an actual plan to undo all the 'damage' he has done?

Cheney lied about the reasons for invading Iraq.
And, he CONTINUES to lie about it even after all of the reasons (Iraq had WMD, Iraq had connections to Al Qaeda, Iraq tried to get Uranium from Niger, Iraq had something to do with 9/11) were debunked, and by YOUR government including the Republican-controlled Senate.

But it is prudent to come up with a plan on how you're going to fix the damage before removing said leak. Without a plan, I'd think we're better off with the current administration, which has a plan. Your plan is essentially 'impeach Cheney'. What happens in the unlikely event you succeed? You're just going to sit around and somehow, magically fix everything? I doubt that. A lot. First, you're going to push your own agenda. Then, maybe in the last years of your president's term, then maybe you'll make a few reforms. That's not what I'm looking for. It's foolish to open the airlock without a space suit.
