Jerry Falwell was not my favorite Republican, but he did come from nothing, build a University, bring all those people he called the Moral Majority to vote in the 70s, and they are still voting today.In many elections that group of people are the difference between Republicans winning, and losing elections.

LOL. I am sure the article would have blasted the Republicans for not saying anything had they not mentioned Rev. Jerry Falwells death. Or had they phrased their talk in any other way, Alternet would have found a way to twist and turn it to make the Republicans look bad. Typical.
