    of course!! the media gets its broadcasting powers by approval of the government. why would they really dig deep on anything of great importance? it's all just surface partisan garbage.

    This administration gives LOTS of breaks to the corporatocracy. Is it any wonder they are given so many free passes by the corporatocracy? Don't be deceived by Rush Limbaugh's "drive by media" tripe. Except for the Internet, American media is owned lock-stock-and-barrel by huge multinational corporations. Their interests and the individual citizen's interests are NOT one and the same.

    It took CBS 2 weeks and the loss of advertising revenues to fire Don Imus for a repulsive racist comment. In 2 days, General John Batiste was fired by CBS. His odious crime? He told the TRUTH about the Bush wars breaking the back of the army. Batiste's truth interferes with the corporatocracy's war profits, and cannot be tolerated.

  The Plame game was a Hoax, like so many Democrats issues. The truth comes out, and it will probably get Libby a lighter sentence.

      So, the drive-by media says, "It's Official," and we are all supposed to believe it? This was a hoax. This was not the truth walking up to anyone, but the typical liberal lie, sneaking and slinking throughout the same liberal media! Even Rosie didn't believe this one!

        You're kidding right? Our own Government has admitted that she was covert and undercover yet you are calling it spin? You obviously did not read the article or listen to the video.

        You and Ms O'Donnell do not have an understanding of how modern spying has changed. It had to change to become more modern. What you think the bad guys aren't using computers and the latest high tech whatever to spy, etc? Get real and get a clue.

        You obviously do not support the unsung heroes of our government the CIA agents and FBI agents in the field. If you did you wouldn't be spouting the neocons, faux news talking points, lies and spin.

  Thanks Z for posting this story. Valerie Plame was a covert agent. She was outed by this administration. It wasn't just her cover that was blown by outing her, it was the covers of other agents working with her that were under cover. The people who outed her and the ones at the top that new about it should be tried for treason. Anyone who says that its a lie that she was a covert agent does not understand how spying has changed. It's not like it was during the cold war. Spying like everything else had and is modernized.
