I thought this was a Democrat House of Representatives. I thought Foley was so important to them. What could they possibly be hiding? Maybe that they made up the whole thing to discoureage the Christian voter. Well, they don't have a Foley this time, and this time the Republicans have Murtha, his brother, Damascus Rose, and her family, Mr & Sen Dianne Finesteiune, and on, and on. Democrat Earmarks, secret Democrat Earmarks. Oh this will be so fun.

Dem or Rep it doesn't really matter. The level of corruption in Congress crosses party lines. They look after their own, no matter what. The Congress is so nearly evenly divided it is difficult to get anything accomplished, much less going after Foley after all this time. It's a wonder we even remember who he is!

BTW, has he gotten out of "rehab" yet! The media seems to have missed his exit if he has, indeed, "gotten out".

Yes, he is way out of rehab, and has a good political appointment. Making lots of money, and the congress is still covering for the Congressmen from Louisiana, with the cold cash in his freezer.

It don't matter who or what party this hipocrite belongs to the law should allow the investigation to continue without delay. A pedophile is a pedophile it don't matter if it's a donkey or an elephant .

If ALL DEMOCRATS and REPUBLICANS don't get the picture now, they are hopeless!

Congress led by Democrats trying to protect Foley's office

A Congress led by Republicans under Hastert trying to protect Freezer Cash Jefferson's office

They are concerned that if they are investigated in the future for illegal and/or illicit activity, their own office may be searched.

They are willing to obstruct an investigation EVEN if they have been all over the news denouncing that member of Congress.

It's "Protect Our Collective Butts" time

So I guess issuing Congress a subpoena will yield the same non-results as Congress issuing one to The White House. Congress has learned their lessons well......from the Bush Administration! What a joke this Government is! But the joke is really on The American People and we are paying for their crimes and oversight and cronies to continue their dishonest path.

Then congress allows ge to charge everyone late fees in the month of august because they were slow processing the payments. When you call them they remove the late fee but not the penalty and lower your available credit.

They are in charge of jc penney and they will loose customers because of this. No one wants to switch to a card with 0 interest just so ge can make money. Cancel your card-mediocre merchandise any way.

                  Wait a second.

Congress, who is so dammed determine to question Bush administration officials to see if there is any malfeasance, thinks that it has some sanctuary from the law in its buildings and computers?

Wrong. You goobers make the law. You're not above it. There's clearly probable cause here and where exactly in the Constitution does it say that Congress gets to keep secrets? Congress doesn't get Congressional privilege.
