The evil empire nearing its end! Once considered the bubble of invincibility, Bush's circle of evil characters and spinmeisters is shrinking fast! Rats are jumping a sinking ship and the man at the top looks more like an emperor who has no clothes! Shotgun Dickie is still there, but his influence is also waning fast!
This is what happens to dictators in their last moments!

They need to take their ill gotten richness and give back to the people whose lives they disrupted, or We the people should seize it. Both of them have bad health to the point they are probably on legal mind altering drugs. The laws of this country say that you must not drive. I say they must not run a Country.

I'm in shock and awe of what this administration has gotten away with! Aided and abetted by Congress and the Supreme Court.
If your government decides to forgo its Constitutional duties and the checks and balances become just an arbitrary guideline, then there is no more democracy.
And, as I feared, the government is fine with letting the legacy of this administration stand pat and give unwarranted powers to the next executive.
We are no longer fighting to keep our democracy, but fighting to reestablish our democracy. Very sad indeed.

Good riddance to bad rubbish!
It's more amazing every time i think about the evil this administration has gotten away with in the last 7 years.
All i can say is Thank God this torment is about over and pray for the next administration that they may be able to undo some of the damage this bunch has done to our country and to our relationships with other countries.
The biggest favor Bush/Cheney/Rove and many others could do for the US is, take their ill gotten gains and leave the country.

"The biggest favor Bush/Cheney/Rove and many others could do for the US is, take their ill gotten gains and leave the country."
I disagree, they shouldn't be allowed to leave the country. They need to be stripped of their ill gotten gains and indicted and imprisoned. That's how we take back our democracy!

Shadowolf: Always have one in the pick up. Never know when you might have to secure something from doing any more damage. Wish these buffoons were where they belong. Going to be mighty hot there. They should bring some strong sun screen.

Will the bubble ever shrink enough to match the size of the Boosh's brain? Was it ever big enough to encompass the size of his ego?
And where is Congress? What is the matter with them? Democrats and Republicans alike have traded their oath of office for just more of the same. When will they stand up and impeach, indict and imprison this cabal?
They should all be thrown out of office. Bush and Cheney for their criminality. Congress for aiding and abetting that criminality.

The purpose of government is to enable the people of a nation to live in safety and happiness. Government exists for the interests of the governed, not for the governors. As Benjamin Franklin wrote, "In free governments the rulers are the servants and the people their superiors and sovereigns." The ultimate powers in a society, therefore, rest in the people themselves, and they should exercise those powers, either directly or through representatives, in every way they are competent and that is practicable.
"Whenever our affairs go obviously wrong, the good sense of the people will interpose and set them to rights." --Thomas Jefferson, 1789.

"The president has already decided ... You cannot question his decision."
HEIL!! HEIL!!! HEIL!!!
These people hold our constitution and form of government in contempt. They are Nazis who have renamed themselves the more politically correct "neocon." "Unitary executive" is spinmeister speak for "Dictatorship."
They are arrogant, incompetent and dangerously sure that "God is on their side."
Shame on the repug congress for not exercising oversight to keep them in check, and shame on the dem congress for letting them continue.

Funny that is what Cheyney kept telling Bush. Bush was the President in name only. Cheyney is the Furher. Impeach them all. Don't stop until we have all new representation through out the country. And as Shadowolf said replace the judges especially the supreme court justices. Or should it be the supreme court jesters.

Its an impressive piece of work!
When I feel like I can write one as well as that I might flesh mine out a little..

FTA: "Admittedly, the president's not all that happy about the way things have worked out either. As he confides to journalist Robert Draper in Draper's new book, _Dead_Certain_, 'I cry a lot.'
Don't we all?"
Isn't that the truth. Our wonderful Constitution and all the blood that's been shed by real heroes so we would live under it's protection. Seeing it perverted for filthy lucre is enough to make the strongest of men cry.

I don't know. Bush kind of reminds me of Maxwell Smart. The guy falls over his own feet and ends up winning somehow. It wouldn't surprise me if over the next year:
1. The Iraqis solve their problems.
2. The Iranian military, fearing an attack, overthrow the nutcase President.
3. Whoever the Democratic nominee is (Hillary) gets caught up in more fund raising scandals.
Oh, and then Syria admits that they hid Saddam's WMD's. Why not? The friggin' guy has had such a charmed life already.

If I may add a couple more:
5. Al Gonzo finds religion and joins a monastery
6. Dummy Rummy starts his own Radio talk show, giving free airtime for this Dumbo and his "badministration"!

I've seldom read louder Lib squawking.
First of all, Petraeus just shut down the "anti-war" Demobrats with his Q&A sessions, so we're back to a full bipartisan war.
If you want to talk about things shrinking, try Harry Reid's credibility. I saw a sound bite of that milquetoast loser telling the media, "Well, we tried to stop the war." No you didn't, you loser. You and Speaker Pansy could have shut down the government and forced a showdown with Bush, but no, you had to be a spineless coward and support a bipartisan surge for the bipartisan war.
Bush is really the one who needs to worry about the circle shrinking alright.

I wonder if the congress will be strong enough to put these misguided, delusional criminals on trial? That is how Bush should end his Presidency in shame. For the Shame and sorrow he has caused all of America. Or if they will wilt like the soft losers they have become by giving in to the President and his henchmen.

That answer is already obvious. This will not happen over the next year. The numbers aren''t even close to being there. And as long as the Republicans hold the party line nothing is possible.
As for the insinuation that Cheney's power is waning that was made by another poster. That is far from decided, if we take any offensive action against Iran you best believe it came from his order, not Bush. That will afterall be the death knell to Bush's legacy. Will there really be such a thing? And think about it, what, for instance will go in his library? "My Pet Goat"? A shredded copy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights? What else?
