I find it hard to understand how intelligent people can keep arguing about a sexual misdeed that took place 10 years ago but in some way feel that the BS happening today is acceptable.

Those who would agree that a nuclear strike is in some way justifiable while a BJ is terrible crime.

That the continual selling of USA to your future competitors is not a problem, that the national debt rising by 40% in 6 years so your great grand children are in hock, but hey keep bring up the past that might make the present better.

What c l i t did was wrong but a Rep. congress didn't charge him and his wife is still with him, strange as that may be.

We weren't arguing, we were laughing. :D. Seriously though, and I'm tired of being serious today, the situation was NOT about a "sexual misdeed".

One well-written book on the subject was "Sell Out" by David Shippers, the Chief Investigative Prosecutor during the so-called impeachment hearings. A life-long Democrat, he was originally called in to investigate (what he called) the "Chicago-style" politics accusations. You know, where they register a hundred people to vote at the same vacant lot address. It was a plan that Henry Cisneros cooked up to rubber stamp citizenship for the participants. The original plan called to target five key US Cities, later they added two more. First it was just Clinton and Cisneros, later Clinton turned it over to Gore. When the investigation was halted due to attention on Paula Jones they had uncovered over 60 convicted felons. The 1996 election was to be won at any cost. continues...

Sure! HB, "Slick Willy" didn't do anything wrong, he just compromised his oath of office plus nearly ruined the sanctity of his marriage to his wife, compounded by the fact that he lied to the very people who elected his @$$ to the WH. I guess his biggest transgression was that he was stupid enough to get caught.

(btw - Luv Warren Zevon, and Hillary looked absolutely scary there. I'd hate to be around her during a full moon or when she's in that time of month.) Arooo!

And it would be safer for the world if the same was done to shrub, in the here and now he is the problem, not what some loser did 8-10 years ago.
