Fake veteran gets 5-month sentence
MacBeth was sentenced Friday to five months in jail and three years' probation for falsifying a Department of Veterans Affairs claim and an Army discharge record.
MacBeth's is the latest case to be sentenced under "Operation Stolen Valor," which uses the new Stolen Valor Act to go after people posing as veterans, who often festoon themselves with awards and invent tales of long-term injuries, often to fraudulently acquire veterans benefits.
MacBeth apologized for snookering anti-war groups with his claims of killing unarmed, helpless civilians in Iraq -- which were translated into Arabic and posted on the Internet -- and also to U.S. soldiers whom he defamed.
In a widely distributed Internet video translated into Arabic, Macbeth said. "We would burn their bodies ... hang their bodies from the rafters in the mosque."

Since we Christian Conservatives own media - we can Lord it over anybody that dares to criticise one of our own.
I applaud Frank Carlucci, Mr. Number ONE at CBS, for eliminatin Dan Rather.
As we all know, that Dan had a personal disliek of Goerge W. Bush, seein as how GW is one of the more accomplished liars - even moren most presdients!!
And thats sayin sumpthin.
YOu know, fer the life of me, I caint quite understand how my fellow conservatives got the nerve to claim lliberals is biasin the media.

Kingston just dug his own grave. Adios, amigo. Kingston is a staunch ultra-right wing conservative. As usual he is on the wrong side of this issue. He voted to condemn MoveOn and now he wants to commend Rush Limbaugh. The hypocrisy just never seems to stop.
Here's a video when he tried to go on the attack against Greenwald. Notice his technique..a technique used frequently by necon's on these pages. They try to shoot the messenger. If that fails they lie.

What message was Rush propagating? That all soldiers that are against the war effort are phony soldiers. In that case by Republican standards, he should be attacked. Instead they hypocritically want to commend him. If Hillary or Obama had said that you guys would be readying the rope for a hanging. I doubt even one of you would be saying he/she needs to be commended. So it's clear to me that the whole lot of you are hypocrites.
