Before Hitler abrogated his agreement with "Uncle Joe" Stalin, American leftists urged appeasement of Nazi Germany.
It is completely understandable that they would be all aquiver over the possibility of someone taking out the Iranian Hitler. How much do they really oppose Ahmadinejad's goals? When Ahmadinejad visted and spoke at Columbia University, and provided his usual opinions about the Holocaust and wiping Israel off the map, the students applauded.
Yes, it's completely understandable.
