They realize that it's a bipartisan issue. They have to address the problem in some way or lose votes. Votes that they sorely need right now.

Giuliani says Global warming is a hoax. So far McCain is the only one that has publicly admitted that global warming is a big issue. So there you have it, on one hand they emphasize faith and religion. On the other hand they have no faith in science.

Fair is fair. Global Warming says Giuliani is a hoax too.

Finally someone from the right realizes this is a world problem---not a leftist theory.

Not too sure about that. Sounds more like a political power type thing. After all, if your own children won't vote for you, you know you're in trouble.

They had better come around to the fact of Climate Change. Their asses depend on it, if they want to get (re) elected. But hell, all of the campaign mantra's have well been tested, and studied. On both sides. It makes effin pol. sense, if they want to preserve their careers. It's a pol. match game and guess what, we don't count really. We're only worth the percentage of votes and we are ignored and silenced thereafter. We've no part in the debate. We're just the medium by which they trample, on their way to score a seat. So they make concessions w/ their corporate

          partners/handlers.

I've lost all faith in either side quite frankly.

This ought not even be a debate. But then again, not everyone's agenda is governed by their conscious. And so I'm sorry I can't get all excited about a bunch of corp. politicians that realize it makes good election sense to, give some pre agreed concessions to the public. Had they acted w/o influences from Lobbyists, they'de of arrived here a long time ago

Correction: When I stated, "And so I'm sorry I can't get all excited about a bunch of corp. politicians..." I'm actually not sorry, but rather sickened. As it merely shows that it all has to do with Multi National Corporations/campaign finances and favors. No matter what the global price may be.. But for now, they'll make some consessions. Afterall, we are in an election season. $$$$$ and the beat goes on.Unless we vote for someone not owned by corporations.
