Cheney: "If He Were Anyone Else, He'd Probably Be Dead by Now" »
Posted by: TechnologyExpert 9 months agoAn effective, and to the point full-page ad is appearing in 10 Iowa papers today. The ad (.PDF), while advocating HR 676, the National Health Insurance Act, also points out an inconvenient truth: if Dick Cheney didn't have the government-financed health care he, Bush, and members of Congress enjoy, he'd most likely be dead by now.

If single-payer health care is so bad, why do all the federal politicians and law makers live by it?
It`s a pretty easy question.

..just like Dumya wanting to privatize social security... so he'd have a lot more republicans with a vested interest in making SS work... all a scam where the rich just get richer... like the HMOs... and big pharmaceuticals... like under the Bush Medidare Prescription Bill (no negotiating a lower prices and big subsidies to the big providers). Even Michael Moore wrote how the repugs want you to believe that you can be one of the really rich too!

Locky, Americans are dying with far less than what Cheney has experienced - you uncaring fool!
How many more millions has Dumya's administration seen go into the uninsured ranks and lose their pensions... almost 50 million American now, I believe.
Then add the 10 million kids Dumya just chose not to help. What heartless people you are, unscrupulous and un-American!

First of all, it's R&D dollars that are creating all of the wonder medicines. Create nationalized healthcare and that money dries up. The incentive will be lost due to price controls.
Second, You will be dictated as to what doctor you see and when you will see him/her. Your choice will be gone-- a choice you could have for yourself for about $80 a month.
Third, SCHIP DID pass and is in effect. What Bush vetoed was its' EXPANSION to people who could more than afford $80 a month.
The government runs the country. It is NOT the United Way charity organization. Too many people think it is.

nothing free from the GOP... has to be at least a 300% profit with no audit trail mandated in the law!
