I got lotsa cousins in OHio.
As I understand it the Republicans controlled all Ohio for dozens of years and it became one of the more corrupt goverments in the nation.
This article points to serious improprieties - especially in the last presidential election. It wuz Kenneth Blackwell who wuz Secretary of State during the GW elections and his 'questionable' decisions caused a furor among voters there.
Blackwell, a fundamentalist and Christian Conservative liek Goerge W. Bush, made rulings that were so lackin in disgression and oversight that an investigatory panel has recommended an overhaul of the entire state election process that would remove partisan hacks from controllin the process.
This is a blow to us Christian Conservative supporters of Neo-Conism.
Neo-Cons believe so fervently that their political policies are blessed by God that the Neo-Con arrogance becomes a power in and of itself!

Exactly, Goppy, for the neocons, the end justifies the means.
Well, at least some of the culprits are being punished, but as usual it's only the lower ranks.

18 months in jail for a crime thas should be considered treason is inapropriate. In addition, they should lose the right to ever vote again.
"Just for the record, only 6 votes registered for Kerry instead of Bush in each of Ohio's precincts would have changed the result of that election."
The world knows that free elections in the United States had ended about seven years ago. Most Americans are finally coming to see this too.
Last weeks fiasco in Tampa Florida during the Republican straw poll caught Romney surpporters on a video tape stuffing the ballot boxes.
Florida and Ohio are only two of the many states, where voting procedures are too corrupt to trust.

I shore wish you had been there to stand up for Albierto Gonzales when he tried to persuade the Right Wing Supreme Court that there was Democratic voter fraud throughout our nation.
Cause maybe your shrill voice woulda helped convince the Right Wing Supreme Court that Albierto WASNT craazy and then maybe they wouldnta thrown out this additional attempt to pervert traditional American values with more Neo-Con ideeological craaaziness.

If this is true, they should be prosecuted. If it's one of the "Rush Limbaugh facts", no one pays attention to it.

Were aren't talking about voter fraud here. This is election fraud. This is organised crime on a huge, institutionalised scale.

Republicans may not have invented it but they have almost perfected it in recent times.

At what point does a party become such an outrageous blight that they can be outlawed? The Russians outlawed the communist party after the dissolve of the USSR. Maybe we could learn a thing or 2.

When you eliminate vote fraud let me know. I worked for Precinct Captains in Chicago. My parents were Democrat activists in Chicago, and when they retired to Albuquerque. I know all the dirty little tricks. In Chicago if you see something illegal in the polling place you can tell the Irish Democrat cop, and then you can complain to the Democrat Judge downtown. You could go to jail for longer then the bad guys.
