On Fox News Sunday this morning, Petraeus rejected any talk about his presidential prospects. Asked by host Chris Wallace if he had "any interest in that," Petraeus gave an emphatic "none."

    The General is young yet. There is plenty of time for him to change his mind, and in his later years he may be bored with retirement.

      Petraeus would be better off staying in the military. But it still begs the question. If he were to become president, would he be like Eisenhower and get the US out of a widely unpopular war? (Think Korea.) Or would he be like another US general turned president like US Grant? (very corrupt term in office)

      Just my thoughts.

        He already Betrayed America by saying there was a winning solution in Iraq, there isn't and never will be.

        He should run, he would make an excellent unethical President or representative in government. Why change reality most politicians are corrupt and out for themselves with the best health care, pensions, perks and outright thievery. The man is a typical obey all commands commander without a brain to use on his own. It's following orders no matter the stupidity of the request. History always repeats itself. Must add, and 80 percent of Americans who ARE FOLLOWERS will abhor this post since they believe the righteous rule over us.
