spontaneous grassroots support is why Mr. Paul, an obstetrician from Lake Jackson, Texas, could pull off a stunner on Jan. 8 and place third in New Hampshire's Republican primary. If he does, he would embarrass Rudy Giuliani and steal media limelight from John McCain and Mitt Romney, who are battling for first place.

Why is this even a story?

Most people want change. They are not happy where country is heading.

So Ron Pauls message resonates more and more vs the blob of anti- everything, anti- change republicans.

I am very happy with most republican choices:

      - Rudy - crook, cheat, liar, opportunist

      - McInsane - too old, too sleepy, not getting any of his messages across to any generation other than boomers, represents old retired and retarded.

      - Hackabie - pretty much insane.

      - Romney - wabler, non-mainstream faith, while trying to look presidential represents pretty much nothing, must consult atty on any question.

Oh, please. The man is pollling less then 5% nation wide. He won't win anything. At least Giuliani will make a come back on Super Tuesday. Ron Paul has nothing to look forward to.

I am not sure I am ready to vote for Mr. Paul, but I do like many of his ideas.

All of our rights and freedoms are protected by our men and woman in uniform. Isn't surprising that Ron Paul has recieved the most donations from active duty military members? No I dont believe so.

The war is a big issue. Hillary is going to play the I change my mind card after voting for it. Obama will play the against it from the beginning and all others will take their side one way or the other as what they think is popular. NONE of them will say what they would have done or can guarntee it would had been better than Bush.

For the Bush bashers, if that is all you have then no reason to run. The fact is BUSH ISNT RUNNING. To cry about the last 8 years with NO concreate plans for the future is a joke.

I think the peoples choice is obvious. And its a beautiful thing. Actually heard Rudy trying to sound like Ron Paul yesterday saying hes for small government and whatever else he could steal without saying no more war. But you cant have your cake and illegally invade it too. Oh puleeez Ron Paul is polling almost twice the votes on here then rudy. Thats 60,000 to 34,000 the nationwide phone polls get numbers from 600 likely neo-con voters? Oops i mean Republican voters. If thats the poll someone was referencing anyway.

We have seen a newly elected demo. congress that ran on ending the war but has been able to do it. I can only ask all Americans look at all the canidates very closly. Their voting records. Their backgrounds. What they can definetely tell you what they are going to be able to do in office. NOT what they would had done different. It is the future of America what we are voting for not the past.
