A leader in the making? His family has run much of Pakistan for years. From dealings with Pakistan, they are all corrupt. His father was the corruption behind Benazir and I'm sure he will once again if the kid takes over. Many hate the General but he's improved the lives of the regular people by reducing the corruption. When Bhutto was in power, you paid bribes, I mean cash fees to everyone, her brothers, her in-laws, her cousins. You bought Bentley's and Rolls as "finders fees". If you really want change, let's hope they find someone else.

The cloud of corruption that has dogged Benazir Bhutto for years has magically lifted now that she has been martyred.

        Not very long.

The whole thing is becoming a circus; amongst all party members they couldn't find a capable leader, they had to resort to a 19yr old, what does he know about politics?

and then he has to change his name to sound more legitimate!

BB was no saviour of democracy. She was as corrupt as anyone else could get in pakistan. Her son will be no different. And DYNASTIES do no good to democracies. They are picking leaders based on their lineage. It's only reflective of their subservient mindset.

In Pakistan politics PPP is the biggest political party.Peoples of Pakistan love this party and vote for it because of only BHUTTO.Many cases of corruption on BB and her husband are in courts but nothing can prove in last ten yerars and peoples of Pakistan thinks that all of them are false, they are again ready for vote them. Her son changes his name because he knows that only BHUTTO name can rule on the hearts of Pakistanis.

              Familiar dynasty among neighbors:

Nehru>Indira>Rajiv>Rahul in the making. 2 were assasinated.

Zulfica>Benazir>Baliwal. One was noosed, another assasinated.

This is a very weak article, full of irrelevancies, e.g.

"Significantly, Bilawal's mother Benazir Bhutto, cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan and former US President Bill Clinton, all studied in Oxford University in the same year (although in different houses). Benazir was the President of the Oxford Union."

                WHAT is the significance?

Someone trying to identify one might at least know that Oxford has Colleges, not houses.

There was a far better post by david_nwpa 4 days ago here, on the same topic, sourced on a Time magazine article:

Unfortunately it got buried in the holiday season, I guess.
