Posted by: populist 7 months, 2 weeks agoJohn McCain seemed to have no idea what the President's Working Group in Financial Markets is - in response to a Ron Paul question - even though the "plunge protection team" has been in the news aplenty since last August's credit crisis and a fave topic for the more conspiracy-minded folks out there.

I was diappointed in Ron Paul - a great question, which would show up the corporate fascist government manipulation of markets, and McCain's complicity - except that 99% of Americans have never even heard of the Plunge Protection Team, half of them wouldn't recognize it's official title "President's Working Group...", and at least half of those that do understand are all for it, because they are part of the fraudulent, corrupt scam themselves.
It would have been better to ask why McCain thought we could afford to keep the military in Iraq, Afghanistan, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Italy, Spain, Somalia, and 100 other countries, when we have to BORROW $60 billion/month to meet expenses now.
