Politics – Propeller reports on last night's Grateful Dead benefit concert for Obama in San Francisco. It was the first time the group had played together in four years.
Wow! That is actually amazing. I really never expected to hear anything to come out of the Gratefull Dead after Jerry died. Good for them for finding a cause to bring the band back together. Though it will never be the same with out Jerry, the Dead is one of the most under-rated greatest rock and roll band of all time with the biggest following. I grew up listening to the Dead from my mother who died last year from complications from diabeties like Jerry Garcia. She actually was lucky enough to see the Dead for the first time on their last tour before Jerry's demise.
I maybe going hell in a handbasket, but atleast I'll be enjoying the ride.

Hey there RedRJ, good to see you! I don't know much of anything Obama has ever done besides run for office, except for reuniting the Grateful Dead. (For some reason I thought they were all dead, didn't think much about how grateful they might have been.)

Ask people what he has done for his home state of Illinois and about legislation he has written, they attack a republican instead of naming Obama's accomplishments. He voted present 138 times is the most creative thing I have heard from him.
Meanwhile,the republican nominee McCain was hard at work with Kennedy and Fiengold.

Well,republicans had the chance to vote for the only conservative running and passed it up and called him a nut so I guess they're stuck with the liberal amnesty lovin waterboarding hatin McCain.
I will never, ever vote for McCain either. I have felt that way for many years now, and it has just been reinforced again and again over time. Never, ever!!

I'd vote for Hitler before I would John McCain. McCain's abysmal voting record on amnesty for illegals is why. What I don't understand is on this very site about 99% of the folks out here wrote their senators and called the Senate switch board to stop the McCain Kennedy bill last summer. So many called it closed the senate switchboard that day. Obama, McCain, Clinton, Kennedy, John Kyle, Lindsey Graham democrats & republicans all voted for this bill. Seems they all forgot about that bill. I have not. Anyone that supported that bill will not get my vote.

Senator Obama pays attention, & addresses issues people never think about....until it affects them. The link above should give a small insight into Obama, if you bother to read it all & investigate the issues addressed. Then of course, one would have to think about the consequences if leaders didn't address these issues.
As pointed out, Obama doesn't go after the pretty and emotional issues for attention. He just plods along and addresses important issues to the nation, without fanfare. Imagine. Someone doing their job.
I was actually surprised to see that there were some stoners who weren't supporting Ron Paul.
Apparently they were out in force voting for McCain.
