Who Is "Fascist"? »
Posted by: Klarissa 6 months, 3 weeks agoA review of the book "Liberal Fascism" by Thomas Sowell. The Fascists were completely against individualism in general and especially against individualism in a free market economy. Their agenda included minimum wage laws, government restrictions on profit-making, progressive taxation of capital, and "rigidly secular" schools.

From the mission statement of Obama's church:
W.E.B. DuBois indicated that the problem in the 20th century was going to be the problem of the color line. He was absolutely correct. Our job as servants of God is to address that problem and eradicate it in the name of Him who came for the whole world by calling all men, women, boys and girls to Christ.
W.E.B. DuBois was so taken with the Nazi movement that he put swastikas on the cover of a magazine he edited, despite complaints from Jewish readers.
Even after Hitler achieved dictatorial power in Germany in 1933, DuBois declared that the Nazi dictatorship was "absolutely necessary in order to get the state in order."
As late as 1937 he said in a speech in Harlem that "there is today, in some respects, more democracy in Germany than there has been in years past."

Left wingers always project. They have projected many of the Impeached Ones bad traits onto President Bush. He lied, he is stupid, he is no leader, (yet the Democrats are falling all over themselves giving him what he wants),and he is fascist. None of which is true. Most liberals do not know what a true Fascist is, and this would be a good book for them to read. Thomas Sowell is a brillient man, who has been asked by every Republican President since President Reagan to be an advisor, but he refused to teach, and write.

I'm a Thomas Sowell fan, glad to see he reviewed Goldberg's book. I've submitted a couple things about the true origins of fascist ideology, including (if I remember right) a different review of "Liberal Fascism".
I haven't gotten my hands on a copy yet, but it is on my reading list. From what I've read about the book, you owe it to yourself to read it, even if you totally disagree with its premises.

I "shared" this with only 5 of you- If you think others would like to know about this, please share it.
It is a politically sensitive issue, but one that I think should be known.
It would help to clear the air about Obama if he were asked questions about his agreements or disagreements with the Mission and About statements of his church.
The liberals who accuse conservatives of being fascists are getting this line of attack from a common source. I hope that they will learn that they are being misled.

I see the disinformation campaign has begun! Yes the Fascists were for government executive control, and for their own brand of "socialism", but "liberal" they were definitely not. Conservatives like Ron Paul are anti-Fascist, but the brand of conervativism exercised by Bush and the so-called "military-industrial complex" has more in common with Mussolini's vision than anything the Democrats could dream up.
P.S. It was Prescott Bush who was the Nazi's banker in the USA.
P.P.S. Many people were taken-in by the Fascists, before the true face of Fascism was recognized.
Thomas Sowell... what a maroon!

Talk about your disinformation campaign...
"P.S. It was Prescott Bush who was the Nazi's banker in the USA." Not. He was one director among several directors for one bank among many banks that did business with Nazi Germany prior to WW2.

Hahahahaha. I listen to this guy on Hannity on the way home from work one day. He was really good with the talking point Sean gave him, but a few day later he was on the Daily show. He simply couldn't defend many of the point Jon posed to him about the premise of his book.
The USA is a Socialistic Republic, brought to you by your favorite DemocratRepublican career polititian. Neither believe in libertarian ideals.
