Many leaders of prominence sell their souls for their lust of power. Yet, who has descended faster than Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Presidential candidate from New York, the crowned heir to her husband's throne, the former front-runner who lost her edge to a Washington neophyte from Illinois?

What has Hillary Clinton become? Has she undergone a transformation or has she been exposed for who and what she is?

To me, it appears that Hillary has become everything that has characterized the current administration's infamy: corrupt, greedy, ruthless, dishonest, incompetent, and shortsighted.

I have never been interested in the idea of another Clinton Presidency - even though I had a lot more time for Bill than just about all the twerps who have tried to folow him, not least the one who did.
I would not be at all happy if she won the nomination now.
But while it isn't hard to find ammunition against her I'll hold my fire in the belief that even negative attention feeds the sharks..
The one thing that damages politicians the mostis being ignored. The next most damaging is faint praise.
I'll stick with the former of these and assume that she knows I'm ignoring her.. :)
Wouldn't McCain be the mother of catastrophes?!

Oh Gawd! She has BECOME Bush? Err ok, yeah the last few years she has become just like Bush. Jeeze.
Listen up Spade, and the rest of the left that somehow is 'SHOCKED' by the last few weeks. It's time for a reality check.
Democrats aren't Saintly and All Republicans aren't evil Nazi, Facisits.
Hillary is finally showing the blind who she truly is, I've seen her true self for 20 years as have others on the right.

While in the throes of dispair during the Bush admin, i would have gladly welcomed a Hillary Clinton admin. However, she has discredited herself, and shown that she is NOT a team player. She has proven that she is willing to do whatever it takes to win, including eating her own, much like what we have now.
God forbid that we end up with more of that kind of politics. This country can't stand much more, we are going to end up in either a Revolutionary or Civil war, right here in America, people are tired!

This is Rhetorical right?
You can't change the spots on a hyena. All you can do is mistake it for a kitten in your inability to see it for what it has always been just before it sinks it's teeth into you throat once it feels threatened.
Surely, after all this time, you on the left have had to see the glimmerings of a hyena in the shadows as walked the political path, whistling and trying to ignore the feeling that you're being stalked?

My impression is it's what the Clintons have always been. Unlike Cheney/Bush, they are very interested in public opinion is. They constantly consult focus groups and tell the voters whatever they currently want to hear. Hence Hillary was a NAFTA cheerleader before she opposed it and wanted to renegotiate it or scrap it. But their main purpose is for the Clintons, not the voters.
They moved to Washington in 1992 so poor they had to borrow money from wealthy supporters for the move. 8 years later, on a salary of 350,000 a year, they left Washington worth 35 million dollars. They want to do it again.

To be honest ET, many politicians on both sides have hit pay-dirt in DC. Why else would they spend upwards to a billion dollars to just elect the president?
I bet if you watch close enough in 'any' race, you'll see that 'contenders' drop out about the time there is 'just the right amount' of money left in their campaign funds for them to not look too greedy as they pocket the 'chump change' left over from their valiant run.

When she "went" negative, (as if she hasn't been for years now?) WOW! How quickly people forget! She's been nasty since Bill's gov. election way back then..
Hillary is a proven liar, she will do anything to win, she is an embarrassment to the democrats and is even hiding a court case against her, (the biggest financial fraud case in the Hill's history pending now in CA) That alone is a huge deception to all those who still support her for president! Hillary's past of one financial fraud case after another, (whitewater, filegate, travelgate & 3 since becoming - and kept quiet) should've been a clue! Her excuses are over-the-top too! I mean, "tired, so I misspoke?" GAD! I guess if she gets tired this easily than I have to wonder about her "waking up at 3 a.m. to answer the red phone!" - She thinks we are too stupid to know better.... just like Obama. CONTâ;¦

The media and some so-called political experts insist that mudslinging and attack ads are effective. But for the last few years, that has not proven to be true. It sounds like some people want to exploit the muckrakers to keep the subject off the real issues; like the Iraq War, the lobbyists, the oil companies, and the profiteers. Will Americans ever smarten up?

So, after all this time, with Hillary set on the pedestal of the 'anointed' one, what happened to make all the shrouded veils to fall from her face, exposing her warts?
It's simple, actual viable competition, named Barack Hussein Obama.
Everyone on the right knows that if Barack never came along, Hillary would still be your anointed Gurl. She'd still be your hero and savior from the evil that has befallen this nation at the hands of the dastardly Republicans.
Her veil would still hide her face and your blinders firmly affixed, as you'd stand around drinking from the fountain of (Republican Evil/Hillary Savior).

The "real issues" for the democrats for years, "Bush lied" "corruption" blah blah, (even with NO evidence just propaganda driven) - Those WERE the REAL issues for the party & "suddenly" corruption/lies all OKAY! (PROVEN ones) NOW time for "real" issues!
Obama lies too! His campaign theme was, "Against the War Since Day 1" Not only was he FOR THE WAR but he supported Bush too! All documented by local TV shows & newspapers & magazine articles. Obama based his run on LIES & panders by lying. & who in their right mind would believe his "excuses" re "Reverend" Wright? "Sure Obama, how could you possibly know your closet confidant of 20 yrs who helped you decided to run, had the sermon title that amazingly is your book's title, married you/wife, baptized your kids, you say "saved your life" - big relationship & you didn't realize his views"? Sure, we believe you!

On most of these threads whether you are a Dem or a Rep I hear the smarter ones on both sides say "it is time for a change"
So why is there even a shillary or a mccluts in the race?
Since 1989 a shrud or c lit has been in office, and 8 years before that a shrud sr, as VP, so since 1981 these two families have shaped USA immensly.25 years and yet people want more of the same.
Barak with all his faults, and we all have them, is a breath of fresh air, he is a step in another direction, a different one that USA has been on for over 2 decades.
None of the 3 who are running are good choices, but 2 of them are just a continuation of all the crap that has plagued USA for years, so if change is what USA wants, then prove it and get rid of the 2 ruling families

Right. You can differentiate the smarter! W/the purposely-misspelled words, the name-calling/play on names & the potty-mouth, it is YOU & w/that mentality who's credible & declaring authority on "smart" - Do you think you are taken seriously and "heard" when posting kiddy-posts?
MAYBE, the "change" Americans want is to NOT read/hear juvenile name-calling, potty-mouth egocentrics anymore EVEN IF Democrats (especially nasty the last 7 years), made it "acceptable" for people to revert to the behaviors of 6th grade playground bullies. Rub off much?
Smart people care about more than "great speeches" & really DO care the USA & want someone w/ real substance, commitment, service & will NEVER vote for one w/NO executive experience (hasn't even run a burger joint) or an already a proven liar who hangs w/a USA hater! Sounds much more logical than a potty-mouthed, tricky name using judgmental egotist's opinions, right?

Spade,
Hillary is now exposed for what she truly is. I can't say that I didn't see this coming as there were hints of this when she was the First Lady. She has always mean, and devisive especially within the democrat party. What America needs now is a common man to rise out of the lower middle class and lead with common sense. Perhaps a mechanic? Remember, mechanics can fix anything.

We already have one - Barack Obama. He rose from such humble beginnings and has come a long, long way. He is the best hope for this country, which has far too many people who are willing to self destruct rather than give him the same opportunity they handed on a silver platter to a traitorous buffoon like GWB (not once, but TWICE!...and are anxious to do a THIRD time with the likes of John McInsane)

Thank you for your input, but the manufactured hate, and indoctrination evident in your verbage leads me to believe that God Himself could be a candidate and you would not support Him. As to your reference to the RINO McCain, he has far more in common with Obama and Hillary than you know.

DId any here see the vile and racist things some conservative black preacher said about Obama on youtube?
OMG those were the most vile, racist things I think I've ever heard! He called his (Obama's) Dad a African ****** monger or the like and said O's mom was a trashy woman and that Obama was born 'trash'. He also said that Obama being mixed makes him not a black candidate. It was covered on Hannity and Colmes on FNC last night.
I thought Hannity and Colmes was gonna come unglued! I was proud of both H&C, they both read that preacher the Riot Act.
I hate racism, it's wrong no matter which party does it or what race does it. It's one thing to disagree with a political view but to go as far as this so called preacher did, is way beyond the pale.

Very well written, spot on blog. I'm not one of the Obama fanatics the right continually derides. I fear he is far more centrist in the Clinton mold than many progressives want to admit. Nevertheless, he showed, in addressing race "head on," a moral courage not seen since MLK. That alone both qualifies Obama for the presidency, and renders his adversaries to the status of peanuts.
Referring to one of those peanuts, Hillary, it seems to me she believes she is entitled to be president, and is thoroughly enraged, like a petulant 8-year old, that an upstart like Obama is grabbing that prize from her. I agree that she long ago passed the point of courageous perserverance. It is now only about Hillary, and to hell with the party, the country and even mankind. When will the party leadership exercise some parental responsibility and send this little girl to her room? Or will the party do, as it has done so often before, snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Hillary as stated is showing her true evil lying colors that should be known to all by the Clintons.
On the other hand I would not be counting Obama in as president yet.
1. There is the race issue with Wright and his other corrupt friends.
2. Please take a good look at his web site and what he has planned. More taxes, doubling the amount on foriegn aid , which I think both are bad ideas when the average family is trying to survive in the US.
3. Giving hand outs to all that have made poor decissions, or making the US a social state which is just another name for communist state. Is not the Answer.
4. We need less goverment in our lives not more. We need fair tade agreements and not more free government cheese.More hand outs without backing will make the dollar even worth less. We need jobs!
5. We need a secure border and not new names for Illeagals.
6. We need a planned withdraw from Iraq and not a withdraw with NO conditions.

Very well put. But sadly, I think people are choosing their candidate from the wounded egos inside, the pride (not the good kind) & the drive to win. The country -- that's last! It is far more important that people pay some $3,500 ea/yr per family w/the tax increases (mid class hit hard) AND that doesn't include the added 50 cents PER gallon gas tax for yet another "research committee" (a group of foks looking into altert fules - already being covered now w/out a tax hike! TOO MUCH for us to have to pay! You're right - for OTHER people's mistakes & the whims of the big spenders in WA, (by the way the left, voted to KEEP port barrel spending so they can continue to milk us dry for what ever "neat stuff" they can get for their states, (the most silly crap u can imagine & the dems want to keep it around to SPEND SPEND SPEND! Maybe that's the reason we were in a REAL RECESSION w/Clinton's last two years in office -- and that WAS painful!

Social SEcurity, medicare, local fire and police departments, are all forms of socialism and they work just fine.
Some people get all hung up on words like "COMMUNISM"; that's just bunk. We are busy trading and supporting communist countries like China. What happened to Vietnam? Did communism get us?
Obama does call for a planned withdrawal from Iraq without leaving permanent bases.
Obama does not condone illegal immigration, but also recognizes that exenophobia and exploitation must be acknowledged and eliminated also. Fixing immigration does not only mean controlling the borders.

Provide for the common defense & common welfare -- means for all of us. Socialism / Marxism, the direction of the "progressive" - means simply, progressing to that socialism that has NOT worked in so many countries - it is almost a joke that, that is the direction the left wants to send us! Gov. controlled everything... we pay for the housing issues people actually brought on themselves... both Obama and Hillary want US to pay MORE for those illegal aliens who broke our laws, (SSI, college funding on top of the TRILLIONS they already cost US, those working and earning money pay for illegal to live w/welfare, hospital care, free schools, food stamps & more! They BOTH just voted to NOT send CRIMINAL ILLEGAL aliens back to their country (and other equally disturbing votes - and they both plan to stop the wall / fence from being built and voted against the electronic surv equipt. & BOTH want open boarders..now THAT'S security!)

Behold the mentality of far left
BTW If you want to get playground bully consider that the left's presidents & "their wars" have the "bloody hands" of nearly 5 Xs MORE of our men (& double that in civilians) than the right's -GAD so hypocritical / so wrong
FACT Being infantile & ignorant should NO LONGER BE AN EXCUSE for bad behavior & spreading propaganda that's untrue & nasty. Choosing to get "knowledge" via over-the-top never-truthful bashing attacking websites & choosing to be dumb enough to buy it w/out question is the fault of the infantile sort who THINK they are adults -BUT they increasingly cost us all A LOT more than we should have to pay. Excessive ignorance & spreading it is AMORAL. What's so terribly difficult in learning the truth & putting aside your pride/ego for decency & the country? (Democrat congress has an all time historic low approval rating; 8% & EARNED IT TOO!)
