Politics – During a public appearance on Saturday, Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC) belittled a U.S. soldier in Iraq who was following orders and wouldn't let McHenry go to the gym without the proper credentials. McHenry referred to the guard as a "two-bit security guard."
Rep. McHenry calls U.S. soldier in Iraq a 'two-bit security guard.'
Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC) belittled a "U.S. soldier" in Iraq who
FTA
"I was not very happy with this two-bit security guard. So you know, I said, "I want to see your supervisor." Thirty minutes later, the supervisor wasn't happy with me, they escort me back to my room."
Strange, why did he ask the U.S. soldier "I want to see your supervisor." And not I want to see your sergeant or CO?
"I want to see your supervisor." Is what you would say if the person was a civilian, not a "soldier"
Id give this story a 99.8% chance it's bogus
By Amanda? Isn't this the idiot who claimed McCain "plagiarized" a speech only to have that blow up in her face?
There's video of him making these remarks. He's very proud of what a big tough guy he is as he makes them.
Yep I was right the story as reported is bogus. Ya think these reporters would know that security guards inside the green zone for non military buildings are PMC's not US soldiers.
PMC's like Blackwater, you know "mercenaries"
KInda explains why he said "supervisor" and not sergeant don't it.
The reporter is a Gullible DS's or she thinks her readers are. You decide
"Michael Goldfarb reports that the "two-bit security guard" was a foreign contractor, not a member of the military, as both Carolina Politics and Lance Sigmon originally reported."
Why don't you read your own source? You got it wrong, and so did "ThinkProgress.org." They even posted the "update" on the very link you provided. No wonder liberals are living in fantasy land.
"'I want to see your supervisor.' Is what you would say if the person was a civilian, not a "soldier"
Right you are. Underneath the story is an "update" explaining McHenry was talking to and about a civilian contractor and not a soldier. Being the sleaze bags they are, ThinkProgress didn't bother correcting their bogus headline, which means they knowingly have published a falsehood. That being the case, they now could he liable for libel and defamation. They know the headline isn't true, but the kept it, anyway. Idiots!!

What a douchebag.
"What a douchebag."
Yeah, I agree. Whoever posted this bogus story must have been exactly that. It will be interesting to see if the highly biased Propeller libs let this inaccurate post remain. It should be removed.
Hmmm ... this bogus story is still up? Not surprising. Leave it to the Propeller libs and the morons at "ThinkProgress" to keep pushing a known falsehood. In legal terms, that equates to libel.
