What McHenry did in Iraq is typical of the disdain that Republicans have for our soldiers. Remember Rumsfeld's defense of why soldiers had inadequate body armor and un-reinforced humvees. He said you go to war w/ what you have not w/ what you wish you had. So Rumsfeld is saying he doesn't care for the safety of his men. He is ordering the GI's into battle, even though the safer equipment was available and planning had taken months. What's another month or 2 of waiting for the better equipment since there was no urgency to start the war by any deadline?

The behaviors of McHenry and of the Bush administration are shameful and despicable.
