This country can't afford to have another election decided by the idea that a member of the ruling class is "genuine" and others are "elitist."

    Great post. I was going to post this myself, but bruhaha beat me to it. Just like Obama, Mr. Reed cuts through the BS to the undeniable truth that anyone who credibly runs for president can't, by definition, be an ordinary person. One can't even get a bid into the race without being an established member of America's elite. But then, one never wants to confuse many "regular" folks, like the right wing loonie who sunk this story, with facts and logic.
