Politics – As international donors met in London to provide aid to the cash-strapped Palestinian Authority, US President George W. Bush included $200 million in funding for the PA as part of a supplemental budget request sent to Congress Friday.
Why don't the very wealthy oil rich arab states give large sums of aid to the Palestinians. Aren't they suppose to be supporting a homeland for the Palestinians? Aren't they brothers? The US backs Israel because there aren't any oil rich Jewish states in the world that can do it for them. Don't ever forget that the US gives over a billion dollars in aid to Egypt. Where are the oil rich arab states who could help their Egyptian brothers as well? Does any of this sink in, or is it just I who doesn't see any of this arab anti Israel rhetoric translate into Palestinian aid? Instead of complaining about US aid to Israel, do something useful and start complaining about the arab nations who do absolutely nothing for their Palestinian brothers. It won't do any good, but at least you will have "gotten it", tehranchik. BTW, where is all of the Iranian oil money that could go to help fund aid for the Palestinians? Missles for Hezbollah and Hamas instead?

Will the Palestinians receive this funding directly?
> Palestinians--$200 million
> Israel military--$2.55 billion
A little detal: Israel agreed to make peace with the Palestinians. Palestinians rejected a peaceful solution on ANY conditions.
Another little detail: Egypt receives more than $2 Billion of US aid.
Still another little detail: Palestinians receive the highest amount of foreign aid per capita in the world, more than Israelis or anyone else.
