CBS Poll: Support For Obama Rebounds

Politics – On one key measure, Obama has seen a big reversal since his denunciation of Wright's remarks on Tuesday. He now leads presumptive Republican nominee John McCain in the hypothetical fall contest by eleven points, 51 percent to 40 percent. That compares to a tied match-up in a CBS News/New York Times poll that was released last Wednesday.

The polls go up; the polls go down.

The war goes on.

The decline of America continues.

Obama is a break away from the past mistakes; a chance to renew our country.

Time for a little change, people.

in the superdelegate count:

since the PA primary...

Obama has picked up 15 superdelegates

Hillary has picked up 14 superdelegates (picked up 15 and lost 1)

McCain already has his concession speech polished and ready to deliver. His job is to deliver a kill-shot to the election, a perfect role since he's incapable of lifting a finger to oppose his ideological soul mates.

The only left for McCain to do is fill in the blank where it says, "I want to give _____ _____ my congraluations..."

Dream on liberals. McLame will defeat either one of your candidates in a victory so huge that will humiliate the democrat party and might even destroy the entire party. lol

The only chance McCain has is the right-wing smear machine.

On his own and on the issues, he doesn`t stand a snowball`s chance in he!!.

The poles change back and fourth so much because you have 2 losers running on the Dem side.

It's hard to make up your mind when you only have losers to pick from.

The CBS poll? Oh, yeah, the guys who had Kerry winning 350 Electors and had Bill Clinton taking 56% in 1996. They were also the ones who had Dukakis wiping the floor with Bush, Sr.

This poll seems to be out of line with many of the others. National tracking polling currently shows Obama up by a couple or so on Clinton but still trailing McCain by that much.

In the all important states of Indiana and North Carolina it looks like Clinton has opened up a 7 to 10 point lead according to most polling. In N.C., Obama's lead has been cut to single digits - 6 to 10 points.

Not to poke fun at our patriotic Republicans, but does anyone here recall the presidential race of 1960? Then John F. Kennedy was trailing his opponent Richard Milhouse Nixon. Each of these races showed the out-come by turnout-voters.

The Republicans think we've forgotten who lost and why he lost. Never underestimate the fact if every Democrat shows-up to vote, the Republicans will fall flat on their patriotic faces. Even they can not create enough voters to counter the "surge" of angry Americans who know now what Bush really represents. Don't get angry with me, fellow Americans, I was there. Were any of you???

Obama has a message the world can and will understand. Jack Kennedy would be proud; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr would be proud. Trust these words! Peace, it's about time!!!
