I agree. I think he talks to slow. Hey, we still have some hope that Clinton will run as an independent. I mean, what about Florida and Michigan? What kind of a setup is that? It is more heartbreaking then Al Gore in 2000.

That's the reason why you should vote for JMC if he runs against Obamosssama. He will make an experienced and a better president than Obamossama.

So now the reason for the Prolotariat becomes clearer.....

Remember America had a choice between Kerry & Bush ...and they picked the worst person ever to run this country; which he promptly ran into the ground.

What gets me is the way they used their logic and facts to choose the village idiot.

The protagonists: A war hero, combat veteran & an officer vs. an individual whose first business went bankrupt, and whose time in the military was questionable from the start and ended with a questionable record (AWOL).

Had they been in a HRO of a corporation ...they'd have all been fired!!!

Thanks, Origin, that's exactly the point I was trying to make way back up on the first page....you just stated it better...

He's only running to stop Hillary. The republicans are going in and voting him because they know he's does nothing except mainly in the interest of African Americans. Take the gas tax reduction for instance, Bush just vetoed it. Obama spoke against it. We need a break so we can take what little we can and sustain our economy with. Bush is afraid that People will take any extra money and find an easier way to live. You know what I mean, like turn your vehicle into a cheaper way to go, buy solar panels for your house or fund Hillary. Maybe spend it on family needs like a doctor, keep someone alive another day. Looks like Obama is out of touch. The President is supposed to put the well being and prosperity of his country first. Those very same republicans will vote republican. The Texas two step is all over the nation. Obama is getting paid to do this buy the republicans. I have enough muslims trying to control my life now.

Tax cuts, tax breaks, tax rebaits, without matching cuts in spending, are all only deficit spending.

Deficit spending is only defered taxation.

You still have to pay the bill; but with interest.

Obama was brave to oppose it; it was the sort of cheap trick that politicians pull when they gamble that the voters are children.

At least it is spent on the US.

No, when we borrow the money by deficit spending, it winds up with whoever loaned it to us.

The republicans claim throwing money works in Iraq.

Why can't we spend some money on our roads, our schools, our parks, our libraries, our bridges?

What is the theoretical problem with investing in your own country?

avatar

first of all dude, I aint a conservative nor a republican so back off... Iraq was the costliest mistake in american history.

What im saying is Obama, a democrat, needs to figure out how to fix the iraq war and the record deficit before he spends our great great grandchildrens money on anything else.

his "ideals" are fine, its his policy that sucks. how will he go about making "change"?

Is he for the end of the much failed drug war? the decriminalization of marijuana, then its legalization and taxation? Without logical, yet radical change, there will be NO change and his rhetoric will be enough to get him elected but not enough to actually enact CHANGE.

why not push for a constitutional amendment to ban political parties?

Young, liberal democrats think Obama is the new JFK, but JFK was a terrible president, who would want to be that?

What i don't understand is that we have a guy that wants to do something about it. Maybe not as much as you would like, and you shoot him down on every policy. It's almost like you want McCain to win. If so, show me how his policies better fit your ideologies.

You're exactly correct.

Its the same reason ....

Back to the Hurricane in Louisiana ...we couldnt depoloy our troops there within a couple of hours, but we could do a humanitarian drop on the other side of the world within 12 hours.

Obama is a master of political speak. Say nothing eloquently. He talks about hope and change. Just like Clintons by word for his first election. "It's time for a change." Then he stuck his finger in the air and went the way the political wind was blowing. Is this going to be the "change" Obama is selling us?

His web site gives a platform that is very comprehensive and will cost more money than the country has. All the far left wish list. His ideas will out spend Clinton's ideas. He is farther left than she is. Of course to pay for it would require a confiscatory tax. But that is what the left is known for. Tax and Spend. And liberals will think Bush had it under control after Obama gets done spending.

Barack Obama's Plan

Provide Middle Class Americans Tax Relief

Obama will cut income taxes by $1,000 for working families to offset the payroll tax they pay.

Provide a Tax Cut for Working Families: Obama will restore fairness to the tax code and provide 150 million workers the tax relief they need. Obama will create a new "Making Work Pay" tax credit of up to $500 per person, or $1,000 per working family. The "Making Work Pay" tax credit will completely eliminate income taxes for 10 million Americans.

Isnt this the same BS as the Bush tax cuts? Dont we have RECORD deficts?

avatar

Simplify Tax Filings for Middle Class Americans: Obama will dramatically simplify tax filings so that millions of Americans will be able to do their taxes in less than five minutes. Obama will ensure that the IRS uses the information it already gets from banks and employers to give taxpayers the option of pre-filled tax forms to verify, sign and return. Experts estimate that the Obama proposal will save Americans up to 200 million total hours of work and aggravation and up to $2 billion in tax preparer fees.

Tax time is a pain in the ass for most people. I know it is in my case. Simplifying the tax system isn't a new idea. It's been talked about for years under Democrat and Republican administrations.

PREFILLED tax forms? Our government couldnt help the people of Katrina yet their gonna get the prefilled info on my Tax Forms correct?

avatar

Your Republican government couldn't help the people of Katrina. Be specific.

Not my republican government.. I am not a republican. To me the republicans are facists and the democrats are Bureucrats. The left and the right can go get F'd as far as im concerned. Neither one is for the people.

avatar

If you live in the U.S.A they were your government, Just as they were mine. We can't deny these things.

avatar

The point is the IRS ALREADY collects this information in the first place. How do you think they know when to audit someone? Do they get it wrong sometimes? You bet, which is why it would be A) optional, and B) require the taxpayer's verification.

avatar
Reply

LOL, everything im reading on his site says "Obama will increase funding to..."

avatar
Reply

Because all the funding has been cut. Our infrastructure is crumbling. Where does our money go? To rebuild Iraq! Yet nothing is being built but an embassy and more bases. Contractors are milking us dry, while Republican candidates talk about increasing war funding. Yet the money were spending isn't helping the American people. It's helping Iraq and the halliburtons.

avatar
Reply

and thats word. However, Obama isnt gonna bring all the troops home. he isnt gonna cut military spending in half. And without legalizing and taxing marijuana he isnt gonna have the funding to do his policies.

and without an impeachment push towards bush and this administration, he is closing his eyes to the last 8 years.

avatar

He said that upon being elected, one of his first tasks for his new AG would be to investigate the Bush/Cheney administration.

That's nonsense!!!

The proof that he will be able to do that??? Do you always believe what you read??

avatar

You obviously believe that 90 to 95% of all blacks voted for Obama. Did you read that, or did you count them?

avatar
Reply

I really wish he would announce war profiteering investigations into Halliburton and the lot.

avatar
Reply

He will likely roll back tax cuts on the wealthy. Funds to cover his foreclosure aid program will largely come from penalties levied on unscrupulous lenders. He's looking to close loopholes that allow for offshore tax shelters.

Tax credits will be shifted from companies that outsource labor to companies that use US labor.

I agree with you about at least decriminalizing pot, if not legalizing and taxing, but something like that would be political suicide until more states step up to bat.

this is BS:

"Ensure More Accountability in the Subprime Mortgage Industry: Obama has been closely monitoring the subprime mortgage situation for years, and introduced comprehensive legislation over a year ago to fight mortgage fraud and protect consumers against abusive lending practices. "

Really? Mortgage lenders are now like drug dealers in the reagan administration? lurking around corners trying to lure you in? What about all the people who got more home than they could afford? Dont they have any responsibility? WHat about the people who purposefully lied on their forms to get a mortgage when they didnt desrve one?

avatar
Reply

They got more home because the lender lied to them! you can put this on the people all you want to but anyone with a brain knows we wouldn't be here if it was for the lenders and their tricks, which by the way is also kicking them in the fannies. There greed exceeded their brain because if the home owner cant pay guess what buddy you are left with a house and payments due to your lender. The only reason we are hearing about this mess is because the lenders are calling on their buddies in Washington for help! Idiots, they were too busy screwing the citizens to have realized that they are screwing themselves too. I like congresses new proposal that they sell at a 15% lost to another lender that will adhere to the congresses regulations!

I agree to this, in 1999, the US Congress repealed the Glass-Steagall Act which was enacted after the great depression to seperate the world of commercial banking and investment banking. But many people bought huge houses, put down 5 to 10%, got an arm, and couldnt afford it to begin with. They misled themselves. Many people with out the proper credentials, work history, etc also lied on their apps and got into things they couldnt persist with. Its not like every foreclosure was because of the banking boogieman. Half were also people who were living beyond their means.

avatar
Reply

"Half were also people who were living beyond their means."

I'd say half are people who are NOW living beyond their means due to their ARMs adjusting. Keep in mind a LOT of people accepted ARMs in the first place because they were assured it would be easy to re-fi into a fixed rate since historically the housing market has always moved up. But since the housing market has been tanking, many find themselves 'upside-down' with a much higher payment, unable to refinance.

Is it the responsibility of the borrower, yes, but is it also the responsibility of the lender who painted an over-rosy picture, yes. Should people who lied on their apps be held accountable? Of course, that's FRAUD. But what about the lenders who used their own stable of appraisers to artificially inflate the value of the home 'for loan purposes'? Lots of people re-fied to get equity from their homes that simply wasn't really there.

avatar
Reply

But you must admit, if the lender tells you it's going to be $1500.00 per month most people go ok, I can do that. What the lenders did is they turn around and sell that loan to another lender more than likely one they own, in so doing the new lender has new terms, which now demands that you pay $3000.00 a months. People didn't buy houses they couldn't pay for, well not if the payments stayed at the price they were given! There was a woman on TV with a $70,000.00 a year house hold income who was losing her home because she couldn't pay. Now tell me if that isn't ridiculous. People are not to be blame here this is like the WAR lies got us into that and lies got the home owners into this mess!
