Right now Obama has the black vote, the liberals, and the anti-war voters. That is not enough to become President. He cannot get the blue collar vote. My husband Union is virtually ignoring him. Big ad in the UA Journal saying vote! No name. No party affiliation. I know Obama tried to move to the center in N C, but that was a joke. He has a voting record. Anyone that can read knows he is 100% liberal. It is fun to watch him try to remake himself

Mmmm, I found this a very interesting comment. Jimmy Hoffa, president of Teamsters was in Indiana this week and gee, funny thing, the Teamsters union, is throwing their support behind him. Last time I checked they were a union with considerable voting umph. He can and does get the EDUCATED BLUE COLLAR voters and my family and I are a part of them. To put a whole group of people in one lump together is quite misleading and seems to me to be a typical Clinton tactic. I think Senator Obama needs to and should ignore Senator Clinton. She is not a threat to him or anyone else except herself, well, maybe Bill. Senator Obama doesn't try to remake himself for anyone. He is who he is and for anyone smart enough to have researched him, they will understand he hasn't changed from whom he's always been. I soldier for the people. Not some of the people, some of the time, rather all of the [eople, all of the time. As Senator Obama says we are not liberals or conservatives, we are Americans.

Union Workers stopped letting Union leaders choose their candidates when they started getting an education. That is why Union endorsements don't ammount to a big vote turnout for Democrats
