It would be a terrible mistake to choose Obama over McCain. Hillary is always getting it backwards....

The true "terrible mistake" would be electing John McSame and 4 more years of the continuous train wreck of the Bush Administration.

Any of the Democratic primary candidates would make a better choice than that. Even sourpuss Mike Gravel.

Obama or Hillary would both be a much better choice than McCain. But then again my deaf, blind dog would be a better choice than McSame.

Give McCain a break! He now sees the light at the end of the tunnel in 2013.

I wonder if you are as true an American as you keep saying cat, or is your party above the needs of our country in your eyes? There is no way you can look at the current state of our nation and thing that a person who thinks the bush plan is working deserves to be president. I would rather give this nation to an idiot than have another-like regime

I would say so. Look, I know I call them names but all I really mean is that they got it wrong and insist on keeping it that way, to me; that's crazy and so they need to go.

Hillary is just trying to be all kissy-face with Dems. Sane Americans know Obama is not a good choice, although he seems to have the terrorist vote wrapped up. Hamas LOVES the guy!

Not as much as Bush loves him some Quadaffi and some Kim Jong-il.

The problem they have with what Obama is saying is that they don't think of it. Do you know what it would do to them is he were to become president and fix a problem they couldn't fix with a gun by talking, that would mean they go away for a long time and may never be heard from again. Obama scares the haters. As a black man I have heard these very same words said about me and my ideas in the conference room only to watch it implemented without me being credited months later. They don't want him to make it because if what he is planning to do works the GOPers are done for.

--Blackaceretum, I wish more people had your kind of common sense. Who stands to gain the most if government fails? What about if global warming is debunked? Or if alternative fuel technologies are torpedoed before they can get off the ground? I guess if some of those on the right asked themselves basic, common sense questions like these, they might be forced to actually think for themselves rather than sit back and have someone else pre-digest and issue for them.

If Obama is elected, will Carter try to negotiate with him?
