And GW Bush has done more? ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
btw - having lived in both the South and the North it has been my experience that there is far more overt and covert racism in the North than there has been in the South in many a decade!
"Boston is definitely a racist city. We are a city divided."
....except when it comes to collecting welfare checks. At that point, Boston - a city that liberal Democrats have in their back pocket - show an unbelievable amount of solidarity, as they line up each month for their little bit of government dole.
Yes, Democrats.... "Uniting the country one city at a time through rampant social welfare". That should be their campaign slogan!
I agree. But we just let walden babble on and on.... He serves no purpose, offers no insights and is as ornery as an old coot, but he's harmless. And a real jack-hole once you get to know him!
I went to school in Boston for a year and transferred to OSU, and I can say with a resounding HELL YES, Boston is a racist city! The lines are drawn very clearly between blacks and whites! I have find that the so called liberal minded cities of the North are far and away less tolerant, and much more raciest than the south.
That is the reason that in the last Massachusetts internal poll taken. Obama is tied with McCain & Clinton leads McCain by 14 points. In the most liberal state in the union, Minnesota & Wisconsin are right behind, the only state McGovern won, if these polls are anywhere near correct I can say without any fear of RESPONSIBLE contradiction the democrats are picking the wrong candidate.
What you can accurately say is that Clinton leads in traditionally Democratic states where the party machine is deeply entrenched -- states that either Obama or Clinton will carry in the fall. After 8 years in the White House and a successful New York Senate campaign, the Clintons OWN the machine.
Nationally, Obama leads Clinton 49.5% to 41.8% in the Real Clear Politics average of national polls. Obama beats McCain 47.2% to 42.8% while Clinton wins by slightly less, 46.7% to 43.5%
The discussion is about race, but you interjected Obama's accomplishments as some sort of criteria and I simply pointed out that you continue to support Bush yet he has done nothing so that invalidates that last part of your statement!
Now as to being on point. I live currently live in the Southwestern part of the Nation and while there is some racism and bigotry here it is minor when compared to that which exists in the North, especially in the metropolitan areas. Boston, Hartford, Trenton, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland immediately to mind as cities where racial tensions have run high over the past decade or so. The same cannot be said of comparable metro areas in the South.
This is just his US Senate accomplishments. He has done much more as an Illinois State Senator. This does not include his accomplishments in law, in community, and in the social ministries he has been so much a part of. Why don't you quit spreading your Right Wing propaganda. It took me less than 30 seconds to google this information.
You could have made a similar argument about another obscure Illinois legislator after his brief experience in the US Congress. He too was a man of very humble birth without a long list of Washington DC experience and "achievements."
His name was Abraham Lincoln. He is often cited by historians as one of the most effective Presidents ever to serve this country. He prevailed against enormous strains in preserving the Union.
But of course, by the achievement standard, Dick Cheney would be a MUCH better man than Lincoln.
Obama's supporters are not sheep simply because they can't rattle off a long list of DC pork he brought home. They just may be brighter than you give them credit for being. They may be taking the measure of the man above the measure of a resume.
The comment she made was wrong. Had she used, intelligent instead of hardworking, she would have hit the nail on the head.
Here's an article showing some of those "intelligent" voters expressing their reasons for voting "hard working" in West Virginia. http://politics.propeller.com/story/2008/05/14/...
Be sure to watch the film clip: http://www.propeller.com/viewstory/2008/05/14/o... 17:19:41&frame=true
That is BS. Obama is winning the southern states where all of the alledged racist live, but Hillary is winning the north.
It isn't racism, its policy.
But since we are posting clips...how about a I post one of an entire room of Obama supporters who can't name a single accomplishment of the man?

This isn't about Bush, this is about Obama and Clinton. Try to stay on point, I know it is hard for you Obama supporters.
You stay on point. What about racism in North vs South?
I live in the Boston area. Boston is definitely a racist city. We are a city divided.

It's strange how an idiot can find his/her way into every conversation.

I was talking about you but like i said "an idiot."
Quick, contact the village! You've located their idiot!
"they line up each month for their little bit of government dole"
Would this be a reference to Haliburton?

Drivel,
Here is a link showing just some of Barack Obama's accomplishments:

I didn't say that Obama doesn't have accomplishments, I was illustrating how many people support him but can't name a single accomplishment.
I wasn't criticizing the man, I was criticizing his sheep!
