Politics – When word came out that a conservative Georgia tavern owner was selling t-shirts with the image of cartoon monkey Curious George over the slogan "Obama in '08," initial reactions focused on the racial slur.

Huh? "Get over" a racial slur? Especially when the originator is so 'proud' of it that he is making money off of it?

No way.

If you were white and someone called you a skin-head or a KKK member in public, would you be able to "get over it" and ignore it?

That tavern owner is a jerk and Obama and others have EVERY right to condemn him for his blatant racism.
