Barack Obama had plenty of reason to slap down George W. Bush over the President's claim that "some people" who advocate talking to Hamas are the latterday equivalents of those who tried to appease Hitler.

Now why would anyone think the Democrats are soft on Terrorists, and have no clue about National Security? Could it be because Demascuse Rose ran right over to visit Bashar Assad as soon as she became speaker? Or maybe because Carter gave the Irani's the American Embassy without firing a shot in 1979? Or maybe it is because they just sent the Presidnet a Military spending bill without any military spending in it? It could be because their Presidential candidate wants to meet Ahmanutjob without preconditions. Take your pick.

Seems the only ones who think that are the dead-enders in the Neocon heartland.

78% of the American public (Libs AND Conservatives) seem to think that wasting $400 billion on an unwinnable war in Iraq ain't that great towards building our national security. Ditto for turning Iraq into a haven for terrorists and al-Qaeda, which it was NOT before we invaded (as bad as Saddam was, he knew terrorists were as much a threat to him as to us, and kept them out).

The majority of the military, including the current secretary of defense, also know that our national security is NOT best served by bleeding our military dry, to the point where "stop loss" measures have to be implemented, and where reenlistments are at a thirty-year low.

Keep calling Barack names. You'll have plenty of time to practice over the next eight years.

You will see how many Americans think your naive, inexperienced candidate can lead during thes times of Terrorist attack, and war in November. Yes. It is a real war, not a bumper sticker. Your candidate will not be allowed to sacriface Americans on our own soil. Not again. Democrats made it possible for Atta, and the boys to plot, and plan attacks in the 90s, never again.
