FTA:
Said a confident-sounding Obama: "I told her that once the dust settled I'm looking forward to meeting with her at a time and place of her choosing." He was disclosing the contents of a conversation the two rivals had on Sunday night but did not describe her response.
The former first lady has given no hint of quitting the race, and she has said repeatedly she may continue her candidacy even beyond the end of the primaries.
But her husband, former President Clinton, strongly suggested otherwise
Bout time!

That may be courageous o her part but from where I sit I can hear the fat lady warming up.

The Dems HAVE to gain a true working majority in the House or it's all for naught. Congress has a bad rap for the last term, but they don't have a working majority. The current numbers are really about a 50/50 power split, since the GOP has the numbers to hold up the works. In their continuing hyper-partisan fashion. And of course they're happy to sit back doing nothing but stopping progress while saying "Hey, don't look at us, they have the majority."

What has bothered me all along with this primary campaign season is that everyone has been yammering to throw in the towel for months. What good would that have done? Why not let South Dakota and Montana have their say? If the Democrats contend that every vote counts, then let them have a choice right up to the very end. We have sufficient time between June 3 and Denver for one candidate or the other to drop out.
Until then, we still have a race.

That is true, however.. while we are fighting each other, we are allowing McCain to gather steam. We need to join together and get our strategy against McCain rather than against each other.
Many states didn't get their say in the repub primary, not saying it's all good, but we really need to start banding together. Our inner party bickering is too draining.

There are still over 200 unpledged Super delegates, and any superdelegat can change their vote all the way to the convention floor vote. He really hasn't been winning by as much as she has lately, and he is yet to win a battleground state. They are very close in the popular vote, and the Delegate numbers.

As i have said before, repugs see the writing on the wall, they know this is going to be a win for the dems in Nov. Hillary was born and raised a repub, and if she could have pulled out the nomination, with a ticket like McCain vs Clinton,, it would have been a win win for them.
However don't forget Anne Coulter, she's been a Hillary woman since day one, for the reason mentioned above, early on Anne Coulter said that Hillary was much more conservative than McCain was.

I just heard Sen Clinton will make a speech tonight, and acknowledge Sen Obama has enough support today to get the nomination, and she will discontinue campaigning She is not conceeding, but suspending her campaign until the convention. Can you say floor fight? She is trying to drive him out by his own choice.

Your pathetic attempts at discrediting Obama by calling him B. Hussein is childish. It is nothing but a name, given to him by his mother, named after his father. It in no way denotes his faith or anything else. HELLS BELLS even ani gave up calling him that.
Very small of you though, but why would i expect anything else, LOL!

If the race between Obama and McCain were won just on quality of friends, Obama would still win by only a slight landslide.
McCain: Hagee, Gramm, Parsely, every lobbyist who ever supported dictators like the Burmese, Iranian govt, etc. But the real `friend` killer.
After how the Bushies swiftboated McCain in 2000 and twisted his arm on torture (npi), here is McCain sucking up to the worst president in our history:

Sick. This photo alone makes real patriotic americans sick.

The RNC wants to air all the dirty laundry that Hillary dumped on Obama.
It will be fair game for DNC to dump all the dirty laundry that Bush dumped on McCain in 2000.
