"The Karl Rove mentality is to try and attack you at your greatest strength and then try to show that you are not like the people voting for you. Those are the two major things that they do. And they tried five or six different things in my campaign. And I just had to write it off."
Right on, Senator Webb, right on.

AG's thread about there being a video in possession of Rudy Ghouliani's wife, showing Michelle Obama calling white people whitey is just more of the nasty propaganda that is spreading right now. It will only get worse, and AG is intelligent enough to know if there was such a video, it would have been put on youtube and Bill O'Reilly for the shock factor it would provide. I am not shocked that she would stoop this low, but surely she has sense enough to know that no such video could exist without being spread all over the internet and every pundit show on every major network, especially Fox! I am so disillusioned by some of these people.

AG has definitely lost any shred of the class she once displayed. One thing I notice is that so many people still participate in the garbage threads...every comment only pushes it closer to the front page.I've just been trying to ignore them lately, they should remain just a fringe lib bashing cesspool for any newcomers to see.

Hey, don't sweat it and remember that for this to work they have to try and convince people that it is more important what his wife allegedly said in a speech that we're not even sure took place than it is to talk about the things that Senator Obama is going to do when he becomes President of the United States of America.
You see, the GOP can't HANDLE the issues.

Webb would be my second choice. A very good choice. But still my second choice.
I would prefer Wesley Clark the retired General. He can trump every thing McCain has experience and knowledge wise militarily. While providing a strong background of international dealings while commanding NATO troops.
His Clinton ties would help heal the rift in the party.
His very background would lay to rest the "Obama is a Muslim" bullsh*t. No Muslim would want a retired General as his second in command.
It would also open up the lies being told by the Bushies and their pet Generals. I think they could not pull the crap on General Clark. He would look at the rhetoric with a practiced and experienced eye.
I just see so many positives in that choice.

What ever people want to label me I don't care; I disagree with AG's politics but I like her.
I like Tessylo's politics, but dislike her, to me she is the opposite of the NUMPTY (saintenne) only not as vile.
slate is another, he has a point of view and defends it, and like all of us he will get snotty to those who get snotty with him.
ranch and dropkicked in the head can not carry on a conversation, if the topic is baseball; they talk bowling.
Lately all the articles on here are about bull, while an article like Gates firing Air Force generals gets a few comments but is not newsworthy;;;;no we should argue about a tape that is a hoax....and is this how the next POTUS will be picked?
How about some positive things these people did, or did they do any.

Labels are not important to me. Content is what is important to me. Character is important to me.
It irritates me when someone can't or won't grasp basic English. It irritates me when people post stories looking for one reaction and when they get a different one they hold their hands up and deny responsibility. It irritates me when we can't just talk about issues without playing all of the mind and power games with each other. If you've got something to say, then just say it.
I can't stand the petty bickering and name-calling, although I am certainly not above the fray. I can't stand the holier than thou attitude from some of the users and the slanderous accusations that get thrown around like confetti at a political rally.
It bothers me a great deal. Yet, I'm still here and have no intention of going anywhere.

Well I am glad you are not going any where, you are a voice of reason, and if I disagree with you I know I will get a civil response.
What gets me is the content of the articles; there is none, it is all nit picking just to assassinate someone's character.
H. clint has had a health care agenda since for ever, and rather discuss a topic that is positive in its intent, what bill did with monica is more important.
McC is a vet, yet he votes against certain vet bills, to me not because he dislikes vets, but because there is something in the presentation of the bill, but lets argue about cindy's tax returns in stead that is way more important.
For every fault Obama has (spelled right I think)so does McC, they are politicians and politics is dirty.

I don't think Hannibal is defending AG. Also, he was here before.
Deep cleansing breaths usually work. Then take a little walk. Then a couple of more deep cleansing breaths. Then it's back to fighting against spin, guilt by association and ludicrous rumors of personal destruction.
