He intends to cutback defense spending when we are faced with the following a resurgent Russia and China, an Iran on the verge of becoming a nuclear power, the North Korean nuclear program, the Pakistani nuclear bazaar, the weakening of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and threats of worldwide terrorism. He is a danger to this country and to the world.
A Jimmy Carter part 2 Presidency is not what we need at the moment. This is a much more dangerous world than it was back in the fall of 1980

Jimmy Carter's Second Term
The greatest charade of the year thus far is the idea that something "new" is being said in this campaign. By anybody. To be bluntly accurate, the only thing new is that one of the final two candidates is black. It seems to escape some that in a country even as young as America, 55 presidential elections (2008 is the 56th) covers just about all the ground there is to cover in debating any given next four years in the life of the United States. Consider.

More scare tactics by the GOP. Be careful. Your voters are getting smarter and aren't going to vote based on fear like you want.

"He promises to maintain the qualitative military edge that our ally enjoys over its potential adversaries, but then endorsing policies and making promises to gut the very programs that ensure that edge.."
So which OBama is telling the truth?

And I was under the impression that to your Rep Pres and his war cabinet; that Osama was a wanted man, now you try and deflect his still being alive on Obama?
Osama is another failed Rep issue, another job half done like Afgan, or was he a smoke screen from the get go.

I tried to tell my daughter yesterday Barak Obama would completely disarm this country. Muslims want to be recognized worldwide. How easy it would be if there was no Superpower to stop them at the shore. It took them years to over run Europe. This guy would just open the doors, and they could walk right in.

If this gov't really thinks that they can take away the guns. Then the revolution will start. A lot of them in the military will not follow the orders to disarm America.
Cause they will be disarming their fathers, grand-fathers, their uncles and cousins. Along with their aunts and the other ladies in their family that has a gun also.
Nope, this gov't would ceast to exist if they tried to take away all the guns. And they know this.
