Obama's silence on taxes is a bit puzzling, because independent analyses of his plan compared with John McCain's well-advertised tax cuts show that the vast majority of Americans would be better off under Obama than McCain. That bears repeating: Obama would cut taxes for ordinary people more than McCain would.

    Obama's plan will gut the spending that will allow jobs to be created. Federal and state jobs only take tax money and give it to someone else. The Economy depends on private investment (to make profits) to create jobs. The Democrates under Jimmy Carter did not understand that and look at the result: Double digit inflation and gasoline lines. Want to see it again? Follow Obama's plan.
