What does McCain mean by 'we' in this context? "I'm happy to tell you that we probably agreed to an increase in educational benefits..." Claiming credit for a bill you opposed and didn't vote for is the ultimate form of credit claiming and McCain is just the person to go where every person with half a brain would know not to go.

Isn't McCain the same guy that told a soldier "We don't have a big enough Army and Marine Corps today" when explaining his opposition to the bill?

It's all about retention. We wouldn't want to give our troops the option to actually better themselvers, then we might not have enough soldiers. We want to make sure the military is their ONLY option.

McCain is not only pathetic, he's dangerous.

This from a guy who got a free, very expensive Annapolis education and then caved on his own Anti-Torture Bill too!

First he opposed it because he said it was too good a deal for vets...then,at the last minute he flip-flopped and supported it for political purposes...and now he wants a pat on the back ???

Sorry John...here's a kick in the ass.

Fairly typical of his M.O. on lots of issues.

McCain is a kook. If elected you'd find him reading the newspaper on the front porch.

It makes me laugh when they say McCain is strong on defense. He will continue the policies of Bush.

Bush's policies were a failure: Where's Bin Laden after 7 years?

(that's the dirty little secret of the Republican party-that and the false flag)
