I don't know luvmyprez, a guy who believes creationism is science, who wants to castrate people, and doesn't even believe in allowing abortion in instances of incest and rape won't go over well with independents and liberals.
And the fact he was Hindu for the first 15 years of his life won't go over well with the evangelical right wingers, as proven by the "he is a muslim" smears against Obama.

Now, now ... if the name calling begins ... we should start out fair and square.
Okay ... you want jovial to have the 'Misogynist' label.
Your commentary these last months places you in the 'Racist' category.

You know what? I am sick of you playing the victim. My first comment EVER to you was this:
"I'm sorry your nice comment got negged."
http://politics.propeller.com/story/2008/03/17/...
You even gave it a pos.
The second time I addressed you, I said this:
"If they want change, I mean REALLY want to get away from the Bush/Clinton thing, then they should vote for McCain. He's the only one who isn't a member of either family.
Haven't you heard, Obama and Bush are cousins?
;P"

Then I said this:
"It's not hard to hide an addiction to painkillers. Most prescription drug abusers do not take amounts that put them into a stupor, they just take enough to feel comfortable or relaxed all the time. Some even pep you up if you start moving when you take them. And it's nowhere near as obvious as meth, they are just energized, not psychotic. It's totally understandable that McCain didn't realize his wife had a problem until he was told.
But even if he knew...there is a big difference between listening to a pastor at your church spew hate for 20 years and trying to stick it out and make it work with the woman you swore to love before God and man, through sickness and health, through good times and bad. Obama's pastor had no legal or heavenly claim on his devotion. McCain's wife does."

I can post plenty of hate-filled comments you've made, you have no room to talk. I'm sorry you have personal issues right now, but that does not give you an excuse to be ugly and make stuff up.
Despite what you think, I do not wish you any ill, I hope your problems are resolved positively.

Nixie, just ignore her.
She has been doing this for a lot longer than you have been around, it is just what she does. She is attack, attack, attack and then when some one takes the bait and feeds her back some of her dish, then she starts on her slanderous tirades.
Just ignore her, may take months, but eventually she will get tired of you and go on to her next subject who might take her bait. She loves to pretend to be a victim, just ignore her or she'll call the cops on you and say you were abusing her...

This was a while ago, everyone was talking about Obama and Cheney and one day there was a story that Bush and Obama are related:
http://www.simplydumb.com/2007/09/12/obama-and-...
If you are trying to be picky about the term "cousins", it's common practice to call relations who are not an "aunt", or "uncle" or any other defined term, "cousin". If you have a problem with that, I don't know who you would discuss it with...I think that's just one of those things that developes over the centuries.

Not a very Christian thing to do there N2N. And it's not an easy thing to get someone booted from the site. If it were we'd be in the midst of impeachment proceedings all the time around here, you'd ban one, we'd ban one and so on. Isn't it nasty enough around here without that sort of petty thinking? You know the 'founders' gave you and anti-free speech button right there second from the right. Ever think to use it and move on?

Yeah, keep throwing that around. People are getting sick of being called a racist for disliking Obama for the myriad of reasons completely unrelated to his race. But keep it up. That is how people become numbed to real racism. You want to undo 40 years of race relations, be my guest.

What lies? everything i stated in my comment is 100% true. he is on the record saying these are his beliefs.. Like on the castration issue, he isn't just calling for chemical castration Luv. He is calling for literally chopping off people's balls. Which sounds a lot like something say Saudi Arabia would do.

Aidenag show us a quote where Jindal supported physical rather than chemical castration. By the way chemical castration is legal in 5 states. But, please, let's see this "on the record" from Jindal that he supports "chopping off people's balls". I'd like to read or hear it in context. Thanks.

Thank you for posting. I suggest you, as I did, find SB144 and read the language of the bill. Physical castration is optional ONLY IF the defendant willingly and voluntarily signs a waiver that he wants that option rather than chemical castration. And it is only optional for repeat offenders of specified sex crimes.
By the way, physical castration does not involve "chopping off people's balls". The testes are surgically removed through the abdomen. In this case, bilateral orchiectomy. Google it.

Aidenag3 months, 1 week ago
For a lot of people that physical castration will be their only choice sonofthemask. I'm not sure if you are aware, but chemical castration has many side effects from the drugs used, that can be fatal if the person has such health problems as diabetes, heart disease, liver or kidney problems, etc etc.
So in those instances, which judging by CDC statistics on those health problems in our population, up to 40% of those given the "Option" will have to choose from having their nuts removed, or possibly death from the drugs.
Either way, one could easily argue all the way to the supreme court that this would constitute cruel and unusual punishment.

I am aware of the health effects from the chemical treatment. We're speaking of men who've raped little girls and destroyed their psyche and their ability to have children when they grow to womanhood. I frankly don't care what the "risks" are for choosing chemical versus bilateral orchiectomy. Do you?
You chose to submit a story with a misleading byline. Not your byline, I'll give you credit for not altering (I've read others suggesting that you have done so in the past...don't know the truth of that or not). But, misleading nonetheless. And then you chose to state that Jindal was "calling for literally chopping off people's balls" which is not what he said nor is it the actual physical procedure. Just like Jindal didn't say that intelligent design was "the very best science" which is what the byline suggests.
Care to weigh in on those points and your characterization of his comments as "insane"?

He does it all the time. He did it today:
"Bobby Jindal's Experience As A Exorcist..."
http://politics.propeller.com/story/2008/06/28/...
The REAL title is:
"Is Bobby Jindal -- Who May Be On McCain's Veep Shortlist -- An Exorcist?"
See for yourself. I checked because of the bad grammer in his altered title. It should be "an" before "exorcist", not "a".

I take strong offense at the idea that you can "look" gay. Apparently you do not, along with NoSpinDave, who also negged my comment. I also took offense at the idea that being Indian should be a detriment to the office of President. Now, dear child, I suggest you consider the possibility that I may be gay or bisexual and take particular offense at the idea you can "look" gay. You should also consider that I am an Obama supporter and that I am rather far left. You should consider I considered the Clinton impeachment proceedings BS, if legal. You should consider I didn't consider the Bush proceedings BS. You should consider the only real grounds you seem to have for negging me is hypocrisy... which you assumed. I am not a Republican. I never supported Clinton's impeachment. Being rather young at the time, in fact, I never paid much attention to it. So to answer your rather pointless question, yes, I did forget about it.

Or maybe not forget about it... maybe I have the decency not to use it to justify attacking someone else for sexual exploits or preference. Maybe I was just raised to believe that two wrongs DO NOT make a right and that it has to END somewhere. The Dems had a chance to do it. People like you, sir, are making them utterly fail at it, assuming you to be a Dem.
For future reference, for you at least, you and most posters on here have no clue where I actually stand on issues. I believe all viewpoints should be represented and when I see one that I don't find to unrealistic not being represented, I will take it up. The only thing I'm going to reveal to you on where I am, in this thread, is left of Sweden and more libertarian then Paul. That's alot of territory.

I grew extremely upset. My apologies. I hope it will not happen again. I dislike the implication that I am a hypocrite. I can pretty much always be certain that when someone on the right shows a similar degree of racism to those on the left, that it will be stomped on in a most adequate fashion. I'm not about ready to let someone make similar statements about a man looking gay or being an Indian or similar things and not let it go unanswered in what I consider an equally adequate fashion. It was out of line for him to make those statements. It was equally out of line for me to go off on a tangent against you and, for that, I apologize.

AlphaGnosis: And why do you spread lies about Obama being a muslim. here is your comment about that:Bwahahaha, okay. Obama was a Muslim, his preacher does hate America and as for his wife, I'm not getting the touchy-feely vibe from her about America, either. Typical hypocrite republican. This guy Jindal was a hindu now christian or whatever, but Obama who is a christian but to you republicans he is a muslim because his father is one and his name is muslim sounding. One question: Is there any republicans that have any common sense? There has to be one. There just has to be. Then again!

I see! I used to stretch daily, not so much anymore! Always good to stretch before you exercise, particularly when you lift weights which I used to do daily (still do from time to time) or do anything strenuous really. It always leaves me with a feeling of calm... even though I only lost about 35 pounds total in about three years of doing it!

Google "Hindu Suicide Bomber", you might be surprised Nixie.. Muslims aren't the only religion that kill people in the name of their religion. pretty much ALL religions do such things. Got nothing against the religion btw, just wanted to point it out since you seem to think only muslims blow themselves up.

just 10 days ago two hindu extremists were arrested for attempting to plant bombs in movie theaters in mumbai. the two men were also charged with two other bombings.
in Feb of last year a train filled with mostly pakistani muslims on their way to lahore from delhi was blown up, killing 68 people.
and on christmas of last year hindu extremists ransacked and burned christian churches in eastern India.

Lmao!
I stand corrected. Question, but do they target Americans? You mentioned they blew up Muslims and Christians, so seems like it is more like a holy war to them, wheras Muslims are attacking Americans and other Western Nations because we live contrary to their beliefs, it's more idealogical. And much further reaching. Muslims Extremists are a threat to America, as far as I know, Hindu Extremists are not.
Btw, I'm not saying Obama is a Muslim. I'm just saying that given his birth and early schooling, it makes sense that people might want to take a closer look at that.

Not yet, anyway. Study what happened to Lebanon once the Muslims had large enough numbers. That is what they do EVERYWHERE. Those who call thmselves "Muslim" who are not practicing jihad are not following the teachings of Muhammed, but are simply influenced by the Christianized, gentler Islam coming out of Al-Azhar. Seriously, neg me to death, but do yourselves a favor and study what Islam is REALLY all about.

Except that, unlike the Quran and Hadith, the Gita doesn't order the execution of those who convert away from the faith.
Also, even though reasonable people can disgaree on the issue of choice, Obama's refusal to protect even children born live after botched abortions proves beyond the shadow of any reasonable doubt that he is "Christian" in name only.
