FTA: "A 17-year-old man was referred to the inpatient psychiatric unit at Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne with an eight-month history of depressed mood . . . He also . . . had visions of apocalyptic events."
(So have Alarmist of the Year Tim Flannery, Profit of Doom Al Gore and Sir Richard Brazen, but I digress.)

I like how China and India refuse to limit their "greenhouse gas" emissions but everyone else is supposed to.
I noticed there was an error in this story. It says China and India produce 40 percent of greenhouse gases. That is false. CO2 accounts for an incredibly small percentage of "greenhouse gases." Water vapor accounts for 95 percent of greenhouse gases.
Then there is methane and other gases. Hell, there's even speculation the gas used in Plasma TVs is worse than CO2.
So given CO2 - a naturally occurring gas - amounts to a very small percentage of overall greenhouse gases, China and India and the rest of the world only produce a tiny fraction of greenhouse gases.
But, fear-mongers like Gore and the Church of Global Warming would have us believe otherwise. The Chinese refute the retreating glacier bull, saying some are growing while others are decreasing.

I listened to a discussion on this yesterday
One Democrat said that China and India wouldn't agree to any limits because it would devastate their middle class
Wonder what he thinks it will do to the middle class here?

"Water vapor accounts for 95 percent of greenhouse gases."
You are correct, except that there is an upper limit to the amount of water vapor the air can contain, hence clouds and rain. There is no such upper limit for CO2 and the excess amounts we are seeing now is leading to the acidification of the oceans.

I always thought Globull Warming was a hoax. Do I think we must do something to protect the environment? Yes. There is nothing wrong with recycling paper, plastic, and glass. (I refuse to give up my Tupperware.) I use the cloth bags at the groceries, & target. I recently started making a list of errands on Sunday night, so I can bundle them so I am not running all over town for nothing. We try to buy foods grown locally. It tastes better, even though it is higher priced it is worth it. And buy in season. I just don't believe we need to go nuts over Global Warming, or make ourselves sick.

Talk about delusional
FTA
" In some countries they're even planning to tax farting cows,..."
Now I can see this idea reaching America and our bickering congress reaching a bipartisan grid-lock position about taxing cow farts.
I would imagine that whole political careers could rest on the taxation policies of cow farts.
Even more bizarre to comtemplate would be the IRS code(s) about cow fart deductions or penalties.
Even the best fiction/satire writers in human history could never top this one.

The boy suffers from a common delusion--he thinks that he is the center of the world, and that his actions will have enormous consequences. Certainly former Vice-President Gore suffers from a similar delusion, and so do many others, both right and left, among our so-called "leaders."

"Gore greatly exaggerated what some scientists believe and others expand on that. "
Actually, it's what MOST climate scientists believe.
