Yes, the President's approval rating is 31%, and Congress is up too, all the way to 18%. Can you imagine how high it would go if they allow our companies to explore for Domestic Oil, and build new Refineries? The election is little over 3 months away. They will not be re elected on the list of achievements they have so far. They think Obama will bring them in on his shirtails, he has none.

Look how desparate the regressives, like the one above, are getting. Some moron, in this case, a Dr. Rich Swier, whoever the hell he is, publishes some BS on the Internet, and the right wing loonies lap it up like a drunk following a beer wagon.

Hey TP, Deal with Pelosi and her promises. She didn't keep them did she? Get on board, Congress is bombing on both sides of the aisle. You're not gonna argue that, are you?

My statistics are from Rasmussen Reports. Congress is in trouble right now because of their obstruction to exploration for oil, building new refineries, and Nuclear power plants. The President's polls are up because the surge is working in Iraq, the Iraqi's have met 15 of 18 benchmarks, and he wants to see Domestic Drilling for oil. So do Americans.

Hey offnote, given that the Demos are going to take a much bigger control of Congress than they have now, its current low approval rating is meaningless. Regardless of what people say now, voters will focus more on throwing out the repugs than they will on re-electing Democratic wusses and triangulators.
That being said, what makes you think I'm willing to defend Pelosi? Don't you think that I, like millions of others, see that she's become Bush's enabler in chief? (I'd like to say Bush's 'ho, but Condi Rice already has that job.) If Cindy Sheehan keeps her promise and runs against Pelosi, I'll support Sheehan.
