Al Gore is challenging the U.S. to start getting all of its energy from sources like wind, sun and other earth-friendly means over the next decade.
It could cost as much as 3 trillion dollars to do so, but Gore says it'll pay off down the line.

Another one!!! That makes four, or five prominent Democrats who do not want to be Obama's veep. Maybe he will have to choose Hillary for V P. At least she wants to run with him. There is only one reason so many people would turn down the opportunity to be Vice President, next in line to the President of the United States, and that is if their internal polls show Obama losing the election in November. Poor Barak.

Gore never wanted it to begin with. He's been there, done that. He's doing much better for himself personally and professionally doing what he is doing.

I wouldn't blame anyone for turning down the opportunity to be VP. Who in their right mind would want to be left with trying to clean up the last 20 plus years of Bush-Clinton-Bush, with the EMPHASIS on the last eight years under w.
