"White House spokeswoman Dana Perino on Monday praised North Korea for its steps, but criticized Iran failing to adequately respond to an offer of incentives in exchange for giving up enrichment of uranium, a component used for atomic weapons."
"However, pressed by a reporter whether Bush still believed that they were part of the "axis of evil," Perino said North Korea and Iran were still part of it."
"I think that until they give up their nuclear weapons programs completely and verifiably, I think that we would keep them in the same category," she said.

STONERS: '"I think that until they give up their nuclear weapons programs completely and verifiably, I think that we would keep them in the same category," she said.'
As far as I know, the US's own security assessment stated that Iran has no nuclear weapons program. How do you give up something that you don't have?

I remember the halcyon days when a communistic dictator who starves his people literally to death would be called evil, and no one would argue.
Also gone are the days when governments that pay people to try to kill you would be called evil without argument.
Over 1,000,000 North Koreans have died under the rule of the first family-run Communist government. If that ain't evil, nothing is.
This is the price we pay for teaching multiculturalism instead of values in our school system.

Neatly put bigurn....
I won't even bother going into what AhmaWhateverTheHellHisName is REALLY said, suffice to say, it was NOT the language expected of a country's leader... Said country funds & supply's terrorists, that, to me, makes that govt evil....
As to "axis of evil", I believe I have covered that adequately.......

bigurn, the day you show actual values on this forum then that day America will be a better place! Just can't get it through your head that teaching about different cultures helps you to appreceiate others and your own, as well as equality among men! But, your conservative platform is that you are better and its alright to be a bigot to those below you - how un-American! What part of the phrase ."..that all men are created equal", don't you get?

From my tree-house, I can't shake the feeling that if Bush is so hot on invading just for nuclear war-heads, I last read the US has some 12,000 ICBMs alone capable of delivering war-heads anywhere on this planet...you know, like pizza home-delivery? But then, who can he torture for information? Volunteers, anyone? Democrats? Independents? The elderly? The un-employed? The infirmed? Criminals? Disabled veterans? Illegal aliens (for minimum wage, of course)?
Wonder what "Walker, Texas Ranger" would do?

Perhaps our beloved prez might consider his axis having four spokes...? Yeah, and turkeys fly...when Cheney gets a loaded shotgun...Everybody that doesn't flap, best duck... Heard he was right-handed, hence best to stand down-wind, very, very far...

It all fits a pattern.
"Axis of evil" 5 syllables
"Stay the course" 3 syllables
"Drill, drill, drill" 3 syllables
"The surge is working" 5 syllables
"Good job Brownie" 4 syllables
If the policy has any more than 5 syllables Bush can't communicate it and his base can't absorb it.
So no matter how complex the issue it must be reduced to a slogan of no more than 5 syllables.
Other examples
"Mission Accomplished" 6 syllables - Bush the younger
"Read my lips, no new taxes" 7 syllables - Bush the elder.
These last two are included as empirical proof of the danger of policies with more than 5 syllables.

You know how upset our beloved prez' and vice prez' can be with those who dare disagree with their God (fill in the blank) and his "troops" and we little folk? Do the words "plucked and deflocked" make any sense to you?
PS: Thank God, Bush is a single syllable. Now what the hell do do, roll him in a Sunday New Times and toke his lordship??? Bury him in Crawdad, TX and pray for oil to grow in his horniness' legacy??? Or, leave him where he lay and use that legacy to keep warm in the winter... Guess it's really hard running a world on bull-squat alone, damned stuff keeps going-out...not to mention, smells to high heaven. Swampie

Got that right, my cool friend! Poor dude worked very hard to find that word. Two-bad guys DO NOT make an "axis," and they couldn't find another nifty-word for our beloved whaz-'is-farce to remember...and hopefully, define... Forgive moi, I speak unkindly of whaz'-'is-'ole. Why learn the English language when you've Bush to teach we dumb-a$$ folk? Pray thee well...;-)
Your pal, Swampie

My cool friend, not to speak unkindly toward our beloved whaz'-'is-'farthing, we can all agree upon one fact: If we really wanted to know the truth, why the hell go through all of this "bull-spuds" and simply look how they were selected... Your pal, Swampie. Hopefully, we as a nation have finally found the truth about the Bush family...'nay, just kiddin'

Follow the money. Bush is stoking the fires of the military industrial complex, and remember Cheney, the CEO of haliburton? Haliburton has shown a 200% growth over the last 8 years, and Boeing's star wars system is a 100 billion dollar tax payer black hole restart to the cold war.
These people are praying for war, so their stock in haliburton and the military contractors will skyrocket. They are praying for war so their oil stocks will sky rocket. Actually, they are doing, not praying. They are making it happen.
The republican army of evangelical christian zionist crusaders, and the airforce of 100% protestant evangelical zionist crusaders and the army of inbred red state wallmart nascar republican voters who voted twice for the massive economic redistribution of wealth to the oil rich and the military war profiteers is complete.
We borrowed or will borrow 3 trillion dollars for this war, 200 Billion to the health care for disabled vets alone, trillions to the war profiteers.
When they are done raping the country, they will move to Dubai to enjoy their billions tax free, and their children will inherit it all tax free.
Take the bill of rights, and line your birdcage. Take the constitution and wipe your arse. Democracy is dead. Its about money and power, and the rich have it all.

If we aren't pals, please forgive moi, dude. This is what any president should know, before he sadly opens his face-hole. Math!!! Small wonder our beloved whaz'-'is-farce bankrupted every company he signed-checks for. "Accidental?" I think not. Bush is a very "lucky" fellow. Not one corporation has sued his tub-of-lard for his "accidents." It always cost a lot when bankrupting a company, think of the cost of our "new" IOU, every American must pay back...$36,000 (percentile before taxes last count" and (pardone le phrase) federal-taxes...

Knowing Bush, he might define axis as the Jimi Hendrix Experience; "Axis Percussion". As I recall, didn't our beloved whaz-his-face get busted for having some coke on his sorry-***** person during those "growing-up years"? Nothing about cocaine, I don't believe Bush for one second when he alludes to being a man. That carpet whacker never "grew-up." He was probably playing hooky that day from school. From his lips he has proven that presidents should stay in school until such time as they mature and act like a grown-up. He hasn't shown me he even attended any school. And to answer those questions out there, when you are the president of the United states, you should be able to define two-syllable words? Sovereign? No wonder Bush didn't try and explain the complexities of land and law. Look what he did to our Constitution and Bill of Rights. He's blasting the "axis of evil" for trying to be like him...to which all have since learned; i.e., He blames the entire world, for not letting him rule the world?
If that makes any sense to anyone, be so kind as forward that to our beloved prez', whaz-'is-face...he still dosen't get the damned word... Peace
